Summary; Sands insists that Jack come over to his apartment to experience the finer aspects of the futuristic/sci-fi curse.

Just making his way to Sands apartment was a harrowing experience for Jack. Sidewalks moved, cars and hoverboards flew by, televisions were everywhere and even the doors spoke to him as they opened themselves for him to pass through. Jack was certainly an adaptable man and brave when it was absolutely called for, but he would much prefer to simply hide and wait this curse out. Far too much was beyond his understanding all at once. This was a lot of progress to take in.
He knocked at Sands' door which began speaking to him and asking his purpose.
"Shut it, you horrible, noisy egress! I wish to talk with your master! Sands! Sands! Bloody open up!"
