Log:
Breathing came slowly, when the Wolf breathed at all. She breathed a slow steady breath, allowing the crisp winter air to cool her lungs, before rolling it out a long cavernous glinting maw like a warm bellow of smoldering ghosts writhing serpentine from a dragon’s mouth before fading into the nocturnal winds traveling to places unknown. Long ears pressed forwards, twisting this way and that, large haunting gold eyes followed, listening and watching, fully attuned to the natural stillness of the surrounding wild, powerful body posed and keened, waiting and wanting to detect familiar signs of life.
Although gone from the City’s cosmopolitan heart, but never forgotten, word of disturbing tales of the Stewart invasion and Greed’s trail, Cheza’s endangerment, had found Vivian even here. These troubling events had not escaped her attention, if nothing these matters became the fuel that warmed her voice to sound. There, roiling over the tree line, sounds a bellowing howl that pierced the jugular of the hallowed moonlight night. Time to have a little primal sit down. Things had to change.
And though she wasn’t entirely sure what would occur, Vivian felt a deep and instinctual urge to gather her kind, unite them in solidarity of community and purpose and better the odds of surviving in this strange and mercurially hostile world of the City together, for only a Wolf severed from its pack understood its importance.

Sighed. The magical rush felt so fuckin GOOD!! Yellow eyes closed and the vampire's body went limp. Listened to Maggie's flock sleepily rustling in nearby roosting tree. Although wards around the property protected the area within, still kept a small part of himself on alert. Never knew what could come roaming by in the forest.
Howl broke the peaceful night awakening both ravens and vampire. Amidst caws of annoyance at sleep disturbed, Jan quickly got to his feet and leapt over the stone fence. No mistaking the wolf's message.
He followed first fading call's sound direction then the increasing scent of Cheza's. Walked into the meeting spot, silently acknowledging those gathered with a brief nod.

...then again, everything about this place was strange.
Keeping close to Cheza, the young wolf kept his tail low, a bit intimidated about all of this. These were the times he missed the rest of the pack. Hige would have made a joke to break the ice, and Kiba and Tsume would have been there to keep things straight. Even Blue would have made him feel better.
At least Anita was there. He knew her.
