(no subject)

When; February 7th, 2008, later in the evening, nearrrring midnight @.@
Rating; R
Characters; Kurosawa Sae and Merylllll Stryfe~
Summary; Old friends reunite. No, really, these girls have a wonderful, loving history of Sae invading her apartment and trying to attack her. And trying to attack her during news reports in the square.
Log;

It was a good distraction when she wasn't working on the news building, to be able to do this gift for Lady. Reinforcing the back room of the good-sized apartment so she could handle putting together her explosives and weapons. Meryl was used to such things, and didn't mind. She just wanted to make sure Lady would go about it safely. Maybe it was still the disaster prevention part of her spawning her to do such things, but it was a good distraction nonetheless.

She'd stopped by a electronics store just an hour before to purchase a camera to help with what she was planning. Take pictures of the room and get dimensions for the materials she was going to need to help reinforce the walls, the floor and the ceiling. Meryl had a few ideas to make the apartment unique for safety reasons, but wasn't going to say a word to Lady until she had some finalized ideas.

It was bordering on eight in the evening by the time she settled on a store to head to, to get a sketchbook and a tape measure. Meryl was fidgeting with her camera, making sure to keep to herself and in places of the least constriction. It wasn't like anyone would take notice to her, anyway. Black carpenter jeans, black jacket, she didn't stand out at all, fortunately. Once she got the stuff she needed, she'd be back to her apartment, and would spend the night through working on ideas for that room.

Apparently the afterlife consisted of mind-numbing boredom. Or rather, it was becoming a blur -- movements and thoughts even she didn't know about. Eternally held by unknown force, at least this would be what the spirit convinced herself that is what it was. Sae would loose track of days, weeks -- none of it making a difference -- to the point she found herself on a residual schedule of wandering. Nothing harmful as of yet, just wandering. Eventually, it would be harmful to the living. Truth be told, Sae held a deep resentment towards the living beings of this place, considering herself not quite human but not quite a monster. Though the would-be fifteen year old shrine maiden found herself caught between the darkness and manifesting physically.

There was no doubt about it, these were instincts, urges to act out upon. Every so often, a poor soul would walk around similar parts like this. And each time, she had the deepest, most desirable urge to hook her fingers underneath their chin, and rip off their jaw. Solely to feel that warmth she could no longer have, fixated on feeling that very rush she spent the last minutes of chaos in All God's Village. She wanted to feel it again -- and no one ever said the deranged girl was successful in ripping someone to pieces. In fact, she barely got to even touch someone, let alone maul them to death.

Sadly, this didn't stop her from absolutely frightening someone. She long since given up on hiding herself, a white dressed spirit had sulked out of the darkness, hunching over, with her hands to her chest, behind her next would be target. But oh! She remembered this person, they were nearly the same height as Sae, the way they walked -- no, Sae convinced herself that she memorized how certain people walked. And well! She had given her plenty of time to recover, far too much time. A small smirk would paint on her ghastly little face, each time. This woman had a name, Sae just cared not to know it. And for those few seconds the ghostly figure of Sae was slowly following behind, at last, the spirit would give up her presence, with a small tap of her worn down getas, against her heal.

"Konichiwa~" The spirit crooned, though not in a girl's voice, a deep, drawn voice, sound as if the speaker could barely hold words.

Of course, the would be, almost immediate reaction of the spirit's sight of a camera would have been to shrink away, fade into darkness. She remembered what they did to her, within the village, and in an instant, that girl that looked like Yae. The one that ran away underneath the village at the sight of her, only to drop her camera. Despite how fuzzy these memories were, there was one thing the spirit never forgot and that cameras tend to sting. Fairly badly. Yet she wold not deter herself away, a step might have been taken away from her, but she took a step forward.

It didn't matter to Sae, given her attention span might have been too short for any physical altercations. Whatever Sae did now was based on impulses.

"L-long time," Not only that, it physically hurt to speak, lurking and coming through walls had drained too much energy out of her. Sae paused, gazing off into the distance, tilting her head to the side with fingers braced against her cheek in mock deep thought. Only to clap her hands childishly, making some sort of strange gesture towards Meryl. And that ghoulish face lit up with Sae's trademark smile, "Grumpy-chan~ play with me?"
