Funny. Doumeki never thought he'd be turning 18 in this City...granted, he didn't think he would have been stuck in this City this long. Almost a year, now...give it until the end of the month. In reflection, one might consider his time here one long, drawn out dream from which he was occationally awakening from, only to slip back into it.
But he wouldn't trade his time here for anything.
There were enough valuable things here that he had learned, people he had met, friends he had made...events that had changed who he was as a person, and caused him to grow and change.
The archer let out a huff as he leaned against one of the doors to the Hot Springs, looking out at the path, waiting for others to arrive. He had lived here for a while, too, so he was familiar with the grounds.
It was odd...had he become comfortable here? Well, maybe comfortable was too strong a word. Amid the friends and the memories created, the City still often had it's thorns that were rather hard to miss, as they still pricked and stung every now and then--curses, fights, wars, death, destruction. But then, Doumeki supposed, there were these things in any world you went to, the City just packed it all into one small package. Not to mention people disappearing and reappearing without their memories. It wasn't the easiest thing to deal with, but Doumeki ahd learned to adjust.
However, at this time, he shoved all that aside, shaking himself out of his musings. There would be time later to contemplate. Right now, he had to be on the lookout for guests.
