Now he can't see them. It's one more thing he's missing out on. Sands wishes he saw more sunsets, more landscapes, more lesbian porn.
He makes his way to Ran's apartment with a blank look that signifies nervousness. They seem to be getting along today when usually he's just annoying the crap out of her. Punching Norrington and threatening Jack was a mistake. Though both satisfying. He's become possessive. It's never been that way before and prefers not to dive too deeply into the reasons.
Especially when he has a headache. It started shortly before he left his building and now it's strong enough to cause him to sway in front of her door. He didn't shoot up before coming, not wanting to be too out of it. With one hand he knocks. The other leans his cane against the wall to pop open a bottle of Advil which he's been chewing like tic tacs the whole way there.
