log: ongoing

When; March 18th, night
Rating; PG-13ish for Lina and Zel's mouth
Characters; Lina Inverse ([livejournal.com profile] dragonslaving), Guy Cecil ([livejournal.com profile] amazing_guy), Zelgadiss Greywords ([livejournal.com profile] rahtilting), and possibly anyone else who wants to join?
Summary; The three of them decide to venture Underground to find a bar to hang around out of boredom.
Log;

Ahhh, bars. Drinking at an early age wasn't that much of a big deal in her world - heck, she's been drinking ever since she started traveling. It was always pretty common. Just as common as it was for her to get in bar fights with random guys, beat them, and possibly get kicked out in all her drunken, incoherent glory.

And to be honest, she was just bored and wanted to do something social. Zel was a good conversationalist sometimes, but he was boring and he always seemed as blue as he looked anyway.

Lina and Zelgadiss both arrived at the entrance to the Underground simultaneously since they, you know, room together; awaiting for Guy's arrival. To keep herself occupied, she messed with the portable little machine-computer-thingy, playing games.

"I wonder if we can take these back to our world," Lina piped up, fascinated by the shiny lights and intriguing structure of Tetris.

Zelgadis adjusted his hood paranoidly. He had no way of knowing if the things in the underground were any weirder looking than he was, but it was better to be safe than sorry.

He didn't drink very often but if Gourry wasn't around, someone had to make sure Lina didn't cause too much trouble, and after the week he'd been having maybe he could use a drink.

"If not, we could try to recreate it... and then you'd most likely try to make a profit from it."

Guy was in a rush. After attending that birthday party, he had to get back into his normal dress after dragging His Majesty back home from the party. So after sliding his sword back into his loose belt, he took off at a run for the underground. He was pretty fast. Faster than Luke, Anise, everyone he went on that long journey with.

His boots lightly smacked the street as his lungs pumped, pushing him closer to his destination. Spotting the two he was meeting, he slid to stop and stood up straight with a smile.

"Hey!"

Zelgadis glanced at Guy and just gave a small nod in greeting. He didn't really know this person. Zelgadis didn't think Guy was suspicious but he still wasn't someone that he trusted yet.

"Lina, have you ever been here before? That is.. do you know what we should expect from this place?"

Guy was born ready. He had heard that the underground was dangerous so he had to be careful. He didn't want to end up having to heal himself and drag people out to a hospital.

"Yeah, I'm ready. I heard there were some odd monsters down there so if you see anything, let me know."

Zelgadiss had the urge to roll his eyes at the cranky comment, but he didn't because he was too cool to roll his eyes. Zelgadiss just hoped that Guy wasn't like the other people he had met around here so far with their "Are you a blue rock?" and "Is your blood made of sand?" comments.

"You might have a point." Zelgadiss couldn't help but smirk underneath his mask. He wasn't normally one for causing chaos but if a drink wouldn't work out his frustration, fighting some monsters might.. In any case, it was good to gather information for their future job.

Well, he did look weird but nothing could ever beat Mohs and what he had turned into. Not that Guy was going to ask. You didn't want to accidentally anger someone he was about to go drinking with.

"It's nice to meet you Zel. The way Lina describes you makes you sound like a really good friend of mine. I hope you don't let me down!"

Zelgadiss didn't know how to respond to that. Guy almost reminded him of Amelia in a way, but that was just weird to imagine.

"You almost sound like you still want to get into a bar fight."

Guy hadn't heard a thing about many of the bars in this place. I guess everyone went and drank all the time, sampling new establishments at every go. He would have looked at the map Lina had but stepping close to her to see it would have been a problem.

"I think I'd prefer to cause less of a commotion. Being around big nasties doesn't sound appealing, if you know what I mean."
