Summary; After this conversation, Jeager takes Tomo out to lunch.

Ever since Tomo had returned to the city, and although she didn't have her memories from last time, Jeager was incredibly happy. The times he had shared with her were important to him and he hoped he would always remember them. Even after Tomo's return, their relationship developed as quickly as the first time. The random cursed weekend had proved, despite both being affected, the two always had fun together.

And because Jeager was true to his word, he was going to take her out to lunch today. He would have yesterday, but the waffles were distracting, and after seeing the effect they had on people, he was glad he waited.

It was weird to be thinking about dating. He told himself he wouldn't get overly attached to someone, in fear of them leaving the City like most had done in the past, but now that Tomo was back.. Well, it was hard to keep that mindset.

Dressed in a regular pair of jeans, black t-shirt, and his usual headgear, the German Chojin headed over to Tomo's apartment. When he reached the apartment door, he took a minute to collect himself, and then knocked.

Tomo enjoyed the time she spent with Jeager. That went without saying. Tomo could pretty much take any occasion and have fun with it. Another well known fact was that she was as dense as a rock.

She'd asked Jeager to lunch just for the fun of it. She wasn't working yet because she was still skeptical of the City, she still wanted to go home. But, for the time being, Jeager was doing a good job of keeping her happy and entertained. A damn good job.

When she heard the knock at the door, as usual, she wasn't ready. Tomo wasn't one to be on time. After quickly pulling on a simple tank top, she hopped to the door as she pulled on her last sock.

"Coming!!"

Jeager waited patiently for the door to open, and when it did, seeing Tomo looking a little rushed, he felt bed. "Ah- Am I too early?.."

"Huh? No way!! Chill!" she laughed her usual, nonchalant laugh. Tomo always thought that Jeager was way too uptight and took every opportunity she could to make him relax a little. Because, if you're always on guard, how are you ever supposed to have fun?

Tomo grabbed her shoes from where they were lazily discarded beside the door and slipped em up. After making sure the door was locked, she smiled brightly, "So! Where are we goin?"

Tomo telling Jeager to chill was all he needed to know. He smiled and waited until she was fully ready before he spoke again. "I vas thinking zhat Cat's Eye Cafe. I've been there before, a vhile back. Zhey havereally good hot chocolate."

"Cat's Eye?" she repeated, thinking about it for awhile. Tomo had been back in the City for awhile, sure, but she still had no clue where anything really was. That, added to her terrible sense of direction...Yeah, she'd be following Jeager. "Are you sure?? Isn't it a lil too hot for hot chocolate?"

"Ja," He replied when she repeated the name. "Probably, but I know zhey have other foods und drinks."

"Well, duh! What are you, dense?!" she laughed, slapping him on the back. She began to walk off in a random direction, tired of standing around. Time spent doing nothing was only time well spent if you were supposed to be doing homework. But right now, they were supposed to be eating.

Jeager scrunched his brow at that. He could be a bit dense at times, but it never really occurred to him.

He followed after Tomo until they got outside and started heading towards the cafe, "It's zhis vay."

Tomo stopped abruptly, turning to see which way Jeager was going. She took hurried little steps to catch up to him, laughing, "What are you talking about? I knew that! Nice weather today, huh?"

The blonde couldn't help but grin, figuring Tomo didn't know the way despite what she said. "Mm, ja. It is. So, how have you been?"

"I've been great!" she responded immediately, as a reflex. But, walking in silence for a little while, she thought about it. Like, really thought about it. Which was weird for Tomo. "But really, I've been really good. I've only been in the City for a month, but I'm doing pretty good! Ran and Hachi have been helpin me a lot. And you too!" she smiled brightly, "Thanks!"

Jeager smiled, "I'm glad I've helped you. I like helping people und making zhem happy." That was his goal in life. To always protect and help those in need.

Her little moment of sentimentality over, Tomo gave him an hearty slap on the back again and laughed jokingly, "You're such a girl!! Jeez!" She skipped ahead to where she saw the cafe not too far away. It was always fun poking fun at Jeager.

Jeager raised an eyebrow, stopping for a moment. ".. Am I really?" He asked, mostly saying it to himself. There was something about becoming effeminate that worried him. Chojin men weren't meant to be frail and girly.

He decided to shake it off, figuring - or atleast hoping - Tomo was joking and followed her to the cafe. When they arrived, he pulled open the door for her and stepped aside.

She was just about to head in when she stopped for a second, grinning just a little too mischievously, "Ladies first!!"

Jeager snorted and stuck his nose in the air, gently pushing Tomo into the cafe first. He wasn't about to let her get the best of him.
