Log;

Jack Sparrow: Jack Sparrow crossed the deck of his own ship after leaving his meeting with Jones, only half conscious of his surroundings. He was far too distracted with his thoughts. He wanted this contract seen through as soon as was possible or a way found around it. In the moment, though, he was far too angered by the position he'd been placed in to properly think through the matter. It was all thoughts in circles and sharp drops. Nothing of any use as he muttered curses against The Dutchman and its captain under his breath.

Tia Dalma: Tia had been stressing herself out unnecessarily over that damned man ever since Faye had left, so she had ventured out onto the deck to sit and read the stars - it was interesting and distracting, as the meanings never made any sense, or sometimes played out into poems or riddles in this strange world. She waited in shadow as the Dutchman came to deposit Jack, and watched as he paced and swore. At least he appeared to have not ended his unnatural life.

"Jack," she called softly, and made her way to him. She wanted to know what had gone on, if he'd tell her - though she wouldn't be entirely surprised if he clammed up and moped about it to the pissing buddies he'd seemed to have made. She was about two meters away when the City shifted just past midnight, and all of her clothes disappeared.

Jack Sparrow: When his internal ramblings were interrupted, it only served to call him into verbalizing them, mid argument. "Twenty! Twenty is far beyond what he ought to... ought to..." In honesty, Jack could have started off into a rant of epic proportions. A thing from which it would have taken a good long time to calm him down. He could have fumed and vented for hours well into the morning. He could have.. But sudden and unexpected nudity has a way of quieting a man. And so, Captain Sparrow's anger was traded for confusion and his train of thought ran violently from the tracks, leaving no survivors. "...You're naked."

Tia Dalma: "Twenty? What you--" ... At Jack's proclamation, Tia noticed that she was, indeed, a bit chillier and a bit ... draftier. She looked down to discover very little besides her own tattoo-covered skin, a slim copper jewelry chain that ran around her middle, and her shoes.

"... So I be." She looked back up at Jack, just as surprised and confused as he was. "I was not just a moment before." A pause. "Why you not?"

Jack Sparrow: Jack was a bit distracted with those... tattoos...and had to shake out of the soft grin and slight daze to react to the fact there were questions now. Not one he had an answer to, however. This was the first curse to truly miss Jack completely. "....Because it hadn't occurred to me?" He shrugged, a little unsure. His mind and emotions and...blood flow, were all a bit confused at that moment.

Tia Dalma: Tia made a slightly indignant face and rested her hands on her hips, defiant. She wasn't bashful at her nakedness at all, but she was a bit put out that the first curse she would be hit with would be one that left her naked on the deck of Jack's ship - while Jack got to stand here staring and unaffected (it was beside the point that neither of them would care). "Not going to offer a lady your coat?"

Jack Sparrow: "What? Oh...of course.. Sorry, luv." The pirate grinned and canted his head to the side as he slid out of his coat. Funny how nakedness you're already quite familiar with can still be a shocking and pleasant surprise when the location and circumstances are new.

Once Jack was free of the worn, blue waistcoat, he carefully wrapped it around Tia's shoulders. "There you are. Lest you should catch your death." He chuckled to himself. "So, d'you fancy that the City's new game is indecency? Seems awfully tame. Could be fun." And a fine distraction from the worries that were newly hanging over Jack.

Tia Dalma: Tia gave Jack a coy smile, and then when she reached up to tug the Jacket in place, it vanished from about her shoulders and re-appeared on the deck at their feet. "... Indecency it be," she said after a moment's startled quietness. "Tame, perhaps, but whimsical. I think I have to be cancelling an appointment, now. How troublesome..." she shivered slightly, and wrapper her arms around herself, but didn't bother actually covering herself. The tension and conflict within Jack was apparent... but his distraction with her body was as well. Tia was never a woman to pass up cheering one of her favorite men.

Jack Sparrow: He was distracted, and hoping to become more so. Jack removed his sash, vest, and shirt to pile them with his coat at Tia's feet. Better that he should join her. He put his arms around her waist, fingers playing at the chain there as he pulled her close to warm her against his own skin. "Shame you'll have to cancel. I suppose there's an opening, then, for me?" He grinned wickedly at the double entendre, thinking himself quite clever.

Tia Dalma: She tried valiantly to keep an aloof expression at the crude joke, but failed, buried her face in Jack's shoulder and made a noise that might have been suppressed laughter. When she stood back she ran her palms up his now bare chest and then stretched them over her head, moving slowly, stretching out in an almost dance-like way in the circle of his arms. "I suppose..."

Jack Sparrow: Tia's movements were hypnotic as ever as she moved in Jack's arms. He kept his eyes on her and his gaze moved slowly over the ink work that marks various bits of her skin. He leaned down and nipped softly at her ear with his teeth.

"There was a ..problem... with following your advice with Jones..." he whispered against her ear and neck. If he was going to ruin the mood, he would make it as close and nice as he could before hand. So Jack licked along Tia's throat and kissed her cheek. "...he says the Pearl is in the City already. That she lies wrecked within these very waters."

Tia Dalma: She let Jack touch her, and continued to move as she was doing, one arm poised over her own head, the other lowered to wrap around his shoulders. She narrowed her eyes a bit at his confession, but she had expected as much. Jack wasn't acting like a kicked puppy outright, so the verdict, though predictably bad, seemed less likely to involve something that included his soul being thrown away. She stepped back until she was far enough away for just her fingertips to brush up against the tanned skin on his chest; she traced a scar and teased one nipple, and tilted her head, looking at Jack through half-lidded eyes. "What the damage be?"

Jack Sparrow: Her sure, slow fingertips pulled a gasp from Jack as they teased at sensitive parts of his skin. He blinked a few times to focus before he could answer her question. "Twenty able bodies to crew that foul ship of his." Jack relayed his wicked side of the bargain casual as anything and let his hands move free over Tia's flesh; sliding down to cup his palms over her buttocks and squeeze slowly. Surely, his dealings with Jones weren't anything too worthy of worrying over. Not when there were other things to busy himself with.

Tia Dalma: Tia pushed forward and pressed herself to Jack, breasts and hips touching, while she placed a kiss to his collarbone. His skin, rough in bits from the occupational hazard of being a vaguely insane pirate, was warm and surprisingly soft. "As long as not one be yours," she murmured, and wrapped both arms around him, leaning up to kiss his lips.

Jack Sparrow: Jack kissed her back, slow and deep. He held the kiss for as long as he could, thankful for how far it took him from his worries and thankful that she, at least, understood what he had to do. There were many, he knew, who would not be so quick to accept and he would be losing allegiances in this city before all was done. “No, love. Not a one of them need be my own.” He chuckled with a haughty smile. “What man who has had dealings with Jack Sparrow more than once would want him as a subordinate?” There were times when being intolerable in large doses was a benefit.

Tia Dalma: "Maybe no man," she chuckled, leaning against him. She could feel the anxiety at the pit of his stomach that threatened to take over, and was pleased to distract him from it. Tia Dalma did not condone slavery, and she did not think lying and cheating to get one's way was a good thing - but at the same time, she was no innocent, and if Jack needed an ally to get him out of more trouble, she would resign herself with no qualms... Though part of her knew Jack would do better with his crew, and that the fascination with her presence as a fixture would only last so long.

Jack Sparrow: Captain Sparrow was a man often in need of allies. He never held long to anyone, but he was always willing to lean on others and make use of their presence and skills when they were available. Tia was no exception. However much he cared for her, he asked many favors as well. Her sweet, strange nature and her affection, however, were things he rarely needed to plead for. "Few women, either. You'd be surprised how hated a man I am. Truly, I'm forced to doubt that any understand me much at all. ... Or perhaps they have some point, and I'm a cad." With their bodies so close and skin so warm, blood was quickly being diverted from Jack's brain. He gripped Tia's ass tightly and pressed her hips close enough to feel that rising firmness between them as he grinned wickedly.

Tia Dalma: Tia gasped as Jack pulled her close, and she arched into him, head tilted back exposing her slender neck. "Not many know your true soul," she admitted, voice near a purr, "but I do. And I not look away or deny you for it." She tilted her head forward again and kissed him fiercely, one hand twisted in his hair and the other gripping his back. She pulled back after nipping at his mouth, and nuzzled against his chin.

Jack Sparrow: While Tia's neck was exposed, Jack nuzzled against that skin and left kisses along the length as she spoke. Then he was at the mercy of her mouth and hands. A small part of him wished desperately that Jones was still somehow watching from his ship. He hoped to make the devil jealous now that their deal was sealed. What remained of logic in Jack Sparrow, however, knew well that incurring Jones' wrath further would do him no favors.

He moaned as he and Tia's lips parted and her teeth slid over his skin. "Some presume to know me far too well. I'd lay wager you come closest, though, eh? Tell me, Tia, just what sort of soul is it I've got?" He's asked similar before, but there's no question he wants to hear the answers to more or fears quite so much.

Tia Dalma: Tia rubbed her hands over Jack's chest, letting her short nails graze over his skin, and kissed up his neck as he spoke before pressing close and rubbing against him. Jack's soul... was an interesting thing. She thought about that time in her home... 'And already, the world seems a little less bright.' No matter how corrupted or compromised, Jack would always be a fixture in the lives of many that could never be replaced.

She stood on her tiptoes to reach, arms around his neck now, and pressed a tender kiss to his temple before whispering, "... Pirate."

Jack Sparrow: Sparrow's lips stretched slow into that sure and prideful smile that could take up the whole width of his face, it seemed, and lit up in his dark eyes. A single word, looked upon with fear, hate, respect and envy all depending on who you asked. One word. And truly, that was the only word that described Jack well. He was proud of it. It may not have always been who he was or, at least, who he portrayed himself as, but it is everything he had become.

Jack laughed. "Indeed, love. Couldn't have stated it better." He lifted her up, best he could, rest the majority of her weight on his shoulder, and carried her towards his quarters. "And soon. I shall have my ship once more...and then my freedom."
