LOG ; In Progress
When; April 7thth - 12:15 [After the Hostess with the Mostest Curse]
Rating; PG
Characters; Hei (
contractorly) and Amber (
rewindingly)
Summary; A chance encounter with the past...
Log;
The adjective 'idiotic' wouldn't even cut it after fighting over something as trivial as a confectionery good. However, it was now after the fact, and would soon become another best-forgotten memory of the City's curses. What good would it do for a Contractor, even a semi-Contractor to mull over something so insignificant - ah, well other than the wound now-reopened at his side.
Brushing his hand over where the bloodstain, Hei's expression stayed passive as he started to head away from the scene of the fight. It was merely a wound, like so many others before.

She had been sitting on a tree nearby the whole duration of the fight. One might say she was there in case one of them killed the other. Another might say she enjoyed watching the violence. Amber wouldn't tell even if you asked. As Hei walked by the tree, she hopped off it to greet him. It is good to be polite, hm~?
It is good to see him."I can help you with that."

"Leave me alone."
Her words were met with a scowl, a slight darkening of his expression as he turned to away from the Contractor.

Amber trotted over to block his path. "I can help you," she insisted. The rational thing for him to do was to accept her help, right? He should know by now that the last thing she would ever do was hurt him. But she has learned a long time ago that his heart was not made of stone. He felt, things, more strongly than she did, perhaps.
She wished she didn't have to hurt him to save him.
"Please?"

"I can take care of myself, Amber. You should know this well enough."
Irrational or not, Hei had no desire to face his ghosts - it was more than enough to even look her.
