Summary; After a curse day where a few too many things were revealed, it's time for some company.

He hadn't wanted to overstep his mark, so when Jack had said he wouldn't mind having Ianto around, he was relieved.

Ianto closed his laptop and dressed in a suit as usual - the pinstripe one that Tosh had said she liked - he left his room and ventured towards the wall he knew Jack was planning on knocking out, basically the other side of the apartment.

"Remember what I said about a hard hat and boots?" he asked, stepping into the room.

Jack was still in his t-shirt and dress slacks. He's started working on putting guiding notches in the wall, so his chestnut hair has bits of plaster and drywall starting to turn it white.

"Meh, hard hats would make my hair look less than dashing."

You know, cause dry wall just added that certain special flare!

"Well I don't know," Ianto said, coming to rest against a wall near where Jack was standing, hands in his pockets, "I'm starting to see a little bit of white here and there." Of course he was referring to the bits of wall in Jack's hair and not the actual colour...

"Having fun though, are we?"

Jack shot Ianto a glare along with a little growl!

After all, we did not sniff the resonator nor did we mention the gray hairs to the Captain.

"I have a sledge hammer and a target and since I haven't had sex in almost a month, this is the next best thing to it."

Ianto just gave Jack a pleasant little smile. After all, Jack was far older than he looked.

And no, no more mentioning grey hairs to the captain.

At the fact Jack hadn't had sex in a month, though, Ianto looked a little surprised. "Oh? I hope this is therapeutic then, and you don't get too hot and bothered."

"Believe it or not," Jack confirmed and he stepped back and shrugged out of his t-shirt.

It was Jack. Any reason to be shirtless was a good reason. Picking up the sledge hammer he gave it a quick heft and then swung it effortlessly into the wall.

>Whack!<

"So, normally I'd offer for you to 'talk about it' in these sort of cases but I know ... you can't really."

>Whack!

Of course it was. And Ianto was not subtly checking him out, of course not.

"Got a spare sledgehammer?" he asked pushing himself away from the wall and away from the flying dust.

And inevitably, it was back to that. "I know. And I don't want to. I said far too much yesterday." He didn't look at Jack then, but past him, "I'm sorry."

"I know," Jack said simply. "You did the right thing, Ianto." And that, was going to be the end of it.

Pausing in mid swing, he shot a filthy look over his shoulder at Ianto.

"Why, Mr. Jones. Do you want to play with my sledge hammer?"

Like Ianto hadn't know that innuendo was coming?

Without even missing a beat Ianto replied "I want to play with all of your toys," face completely deadpan, still standing there nice and straight with his hands in his pockets.

He took a second or two to woe over the fact the hockey stick and the UNIT cap were back in the hub.

But, not the stopwatch. Oh no.

Jack paused in mid swing and turned, one hand on his hip as he arched his eyebrows at Ianto.

"Someone is feeling cheeky and perhaps a bit ambitious."

Why yes, he might have been challenging Ianto a little with the arch of his eyebrows and why not?

Why not indeed?

Ianto pulled something out of the pocket of his waistcoat, careful not to show Jack what it was, and smiled a certain little smile of his.

He stepped closer, just close enough.

"Really now? And why wouldn't you want to share your toys with me?"

Did someone just palm his stopwatch?

Jack smiled wickedly and leaned close towards Ianto, yet not close enough to touch, just so he could talk softly.

"Because you haven't asked, nicely."

Yes, someone did.

And Ianto leaned just a little closer still, his voice even quieter and his breath brushing by Jack's ear, but still not touching. "Please," he said, "captain, let me play with your toys."

Really, it was not at all fair what Ianto could do to a man with those Welsh vowels of his. Jack felt his toes curl and he had to smirk a little to himself as he imagined what a lethal combination Ianto's voice and 51st century pheromones would have been in the world.

"Which toy would you like, Mr. Jones?" Jack asked, turning his head slightly till his lips lightly mouthed the younger man's dark hair.

"Well, I was thinking," and as he paused there was a tell-tale click followed by a distinct ticking sound, "that we could play with my toy first."

Really, what had be been thinking betting on the stopwatch with John? He didn't know what he would have done if he'd lost it permanently.

"How long can you hold your breath?"

Jack asked and very slow and deliberately turned his head to cover Ianto's mouth with his own. It was a heated kiss, gentle in the opening seconds, yet full of all sorts of sensual promises and demands. Jack slowly tracked his mouth from one corner of Ianto's to the other before tickling his tongue against the younger man's lips, encouraging them to part and give him access.

There was no need for an answer to that, was there?

Ianto let Jack move his mouth over his own before letting Jack have what he wanted and opened his mouth to deepen the kiss. But he didn't touch Jack with his hands, letting just their lips touch as the stopwatch ticked away in his palm.

It really was fascinating how you could get used to a sound until it felt wrong when it was missing.

Stop-Watch!

Jack continued a slow and thorough exploration of Ianto's mouth, his tongue sweeping it to gather the familiar taste of the younger man, before thrusting suggestively along Ianto's own. Ianto might have his hands full of the stopwatch but that didn't mean Jack couldn't reach for the strong young body, run his hands along Ianto's side and across his back, hopelessly wrinkling what was probably a nicely pressed shirt?

Though this was supposed to be Jack testing how long Ianto could hold his breath, it was the Captain who drew back first. Not far, just enough that he could speak, lips still brushing against Ianto's mouth.

"Take me to bed," hard to tell if it was a suggestion, an order, a plea...

Even for the usually perfectly tidy Ianto, a wrinkled shirt in the grand scheme of things was worth it.

The stopwatch could be held in one hand really, and Ianto let his left hand trail up Jack's bare side, over his chest and up to his neck to let his fingers thread into Jack's hair.

And still, the stopwatch ticked on.

"Yes..." his breath hissed across Jack's mouth.

Jack hoped Ianto had grabbed a breath because now the Captain's mouth was coming down hard and intense on the younger man's, showing very little mercy as Jack poured hints of his desperation of the past 24 hours into the kiss.

Of course, they were on the opposite side of the flat from where the bedrooms were but after years of navigating the Hub while in a liplock, Jack felt confident that he could guide Ianto back across the two living rooms. Even if this guiding seemed to take the form of Jack getting down and across as much of Ianto's back and shoulders as he could.

There might have been a brief pause where Jack backed Ianto up against a wall for some eager neck nibbling, you know ... just to make sure Ianto had a chance to catch his breath.

>NIP!

Perfectly willing to respond in kind, Ianto kissed Jack back with just as much want, just as much need, showing Jack just how glad Ianto was that he was there.

It was part of the fun, though, stumbling, tripping and holding on to each other as they almost fell but somehow managed to stay on their feet. Anyone in the flat would most likely get quite the eyeful, but Ianto found that he didn't care.

Catching his breath didn't seem to be an option, though as Jack's mouth on his neck made Ianto gasp and and Ah! Ianto rewarded the nip by reaching down to undo Jack's trousers as best as he could with one hand.

Ianto's clever, clever hands were rewarded with a low growl of approval and so long as they were divesting clothes, Ianto wouldn't mind losing the suit coat would he? Jack even tossed it neatly towards a chair.

Then it was time to get moving again, because while Jack had no problem being naked around the flat, he did at least have some modicum of decency that insisted they give Andy a full week to settle in before he was subjected to it and besides ... naked was one thing, naked and aroused was something a bit different and it was possible that Ianto's hands were encountering an eager greeting down there at Jack's fly front.

Lips found the younger man's mouth once more and Jack was forced to release Ianto just briefly so he could straighten them both out as they made the turn down the hallway towards the bedrooms. Ianto's or Jack's own, he didn't care, so long as he could shut the door and continue to lose himself in the man in his arms.

Ianto didn't mind at all, and made no protest when Jack got them moving again, because to be honest, he had a few more inhibitions than Jack, and while passing through might be acceptable, staying right there in the living room was something entirely different.

Ianto didn't care which room either, but his back hit his own first so he fumbled behind for the door handle and twisted it, letting the door swing open from his weight.

Another reason Jack had moved them to a more private setting, he liked it when Ianto didn't feel inhibited in any way shape or form.

Tumbling through the door with the younger man, Jack helped with getting it shut and then focused half his attention on getting Ianto out his clothes, the other half on kissing every bit of skin he managed to uncover in the process.

Tie, if there was one, waistcoat and then shirt. Jack broke away from the kiss to trail a line of eager kisses down Ianto's pale throat and then towards his chest. The bed seemed a bit too far away and the Captain was wound up, eager to please, the way Ianto often found him when Jack was overwrought and perhaps a bit uncertain. Going down to his knees in front of the younger man, Jack jerked the shirt free of the waistband and nipped eagerly at Ianto's belly, tickling the line of his waistband with teeth and lips as he turned his attention to getting the young Welshman out of his pants.

But for Ianto half his job was already done, Jack was shirtless and considering the older man's fondness for going commando, there wasn't much left for Ianto to do other than try and get him out of his trousers.

Not fair really, considering how much he liked to undress the other man.

But he was still holding the stopwatch and it was still ticking away.

"Ah!" Ianto tried his best to help Jack, kicking off his shoes and wriggling at just the right time to make it easier for the older man to undress him.

Maybe next time Jack would make sure to be in full 'uniform' including waistcoat and watch chain.

For now, however, he was focused on getting Ianto's pants and underwear down off his long legs, murring happily as he released the younger man's length, right at eye level!

"Lovely," Jack growled, before running his tongue from root to tip in a moist oral welcome!
