Log; Completed!
When; Monday June second?
Rating; Let's just say PG-13
Characters; Hiyori Tamura (
doujin_dork) and Greed (
so_very_greedy)
Summary; Hiyori, misunderstanding Greed's meaning, agrees to go on a date with him to go have some drawing fun. Madness is imminent.
Log;
As Hiyori walked in the streets of the City, she tried not to reflect upon the curse that had happened the other day. This was supposed to be a fun night, she reminded herself as she adjusted her art supplies so they would be easier to carry. She assumed that everything would go alright. Greed was generally a good guy, for a homunculus, and just because he asked her to meet him at a club didn't mean anything, right? Besides, it was a public place, at any rate, so what could possibly go wrong?
Ahh, it was 'The Den', right? Well, this was the place, then. As she opened the door she looked around to see if she could spot Greed.

Ahh, it was 'The Den', right? Well, this was the place, then. As she opened the door she looked around to see if she could spot Greed.

Inside the room, Greed was already cleaning his place up and making sure everything was respectable. That last thing he needed was a bad impression, after all. A few last checks and everything was ready. The intercom came on as his guest's arrival was announced to him. He eagerly told the hostess to send her up.

After almost knocking on the door to the roof, she quickly righted her position, and knocked on Greed's door.
"Hello? It's Hiyori."

He walked to the kitchen and situated a few things on a tray. Several boxes were opened and sushi, ginger, and several other small japanese dishes were pulled from them, then shuffled about on the tray. After grabbing a bottle of soy sauce and some iced tea, he walked over to where she was.
"Okay, check it out," he set the tray on a table in front of the couch, "Scoot over. I got some japanese foods. That name means you're japanese, right? I read that they like this stuff."

When he walked back in with the pile of food on the tray, she was impressed. He was a very efficient host.
"Ah, yes! I am." She was momentarily confused by the exclusion of himself to Japanese culture, before realizing that just because they spoke Japanese, the different world meant no Japan. "It looks very good!" There was a pause before, unable to resist, she said "Greed; that name means you're greedy, right?"

He sat across the table from her, on a fold out chair. After taking a few bits of eel roll, he chewed for a moment and addressed her.
"What about you? You draw people a lot?"
no subject
"Mmph?" She swallowed. "A-ah. Er, yes, I suppose you could say that." Granted, the people that she drew were almost all drawn without their knowledge; between her friends and the characters, who she was now in the City with, only her own creations were polite to show to all company. And even then, some of her plot lines were based on things her friends did, and then there were some things that were just too risqué to show to anyone she knew.

He scanned over her form as they talk. Slim hips. Short. Not really breasts to speak of. Boring. Well, she wasn't attractive enough to be worth the trouble, but a deal is a deal. Now he just had to find out if she was a good enough artist to capture him.
no subject
"Aah, sure." She handed it to him, and then realized that she didn't remember what was in there, content-wise. Crap! Some of the original character stuff surely wouldn't bother him, but seeing some of her more perverted sketches might give him the wrong idea! AND CRAP! What if there was FANART in there?! Someone he knew might be sketched!

"Well, that's not too bad," he mumbled, flipping through a few more pages, "I can see that you have some competenc--"
What the hell? What was this he saw on the tenth page?
"Excuse me? What's are these two doin'? Is that what I think?"
no subject
Ahh, so he would be one of those that was a harsher judge of her work. That was fine with her, actually. If it helped her to improve, then who was she to complain?
Wait. What are who doing? She glanced over the top of her sketchbook to see what he was talking about. SHIT! Ohcrapohcrapohcrapohcrap! What should she say?!
"U-Uh, oh, th-that? Funny, I haven't seen that one before? Oh no! I-I must have grabbed someone else's sk-sketchbook by mistake! Yes, that'sdefinitelysomeoneelse'ssketchbook." She really was not a good liar.
no subject
"I don't mind at all, if we're doin' that sorta' art. Let the world see!"
He jumped to his feet and threw his vest across the room, following shortly by the rest of his garments.
"So what do I do? Holdf a silk tie or somethin' artsy like that?"
no subject
She took back her sketchbook. "Well, I-I'm glad you liked it, then." See what? Her art? She supposed after she finished some more Greed drawings, after this, she might display some publicly. Hm, a standing pose might be alright for her to draw. And then she looked up.
"HASHKIBRDAHA!" and then immediately buried her face in her sketchbook. "W-W-What is that, so suddenly?! You can't just get n-naked like that without warning! You're just letting me see your----AT LEAST PUT ON SOME P-P-PANTS!" There was also something decidedly different in live models for this sort of thing.
no subject
"What? Models get nude for shit like this, right? I thought that was what I was supposed to do. A little direction would help me out."
He lazily shuffled over to his pants and put them back on.
"Why are you so embarassed? You draw worse than that."
no subject
He did have a point. "Drawing is different then seeing it in front of you, though!" She paused very slightly here, "and it's not like I've done nearly any of what I've drawn, myself." She wasn't embarrassed about this fact; it was just that it was sort of contradictory with her works, and thereby very unexpected. "I-I guess I can just draw you like this, if you still want to."
no subject
He relaxed in his seat, looking slightly bored.

Almost as though on automatic pilot, as soon as she got her sketchbook open and pencil in her hands, she started drawing. She looked up every so often, to get a bearing on what he looked like; his hair, how the couch sunk in certain areas of the cushioning, the shading on everything, the folds on his clothi- well, his pants anyways.

"So, you almost done?"
no subject
no subject
"You'd better set aside what you want before I get to it, or it's gone."
