Log;

Jack had been planning this for a few days now and as someone had been keeping him house bound and fairly quiet, he'd had plenty of time to plot, research and put his plan into motion.

First off had been getting the place. After some thought and some poking around, Jack had chosen a hotel on the beach, thinking back to the time he'd slept with his head on Ianto's lap while on the beach. Second had been to secure a Ianto for the night! Third, Jack had packed a couple of bags, an over night bag for himself and a 'goodie' bag for fun with Ianto.

Back at the flat, Jack had insisted Ianto take off his tie at which point he'd blindfolded the younger man with the silk cloth. Then, with a few taps to his wrist, he teleported them both from the flat to their destination. He'd gotten the key earlier in the day and gently guided Ianto into their reserved room and then took off the blind fold.

"Wha lah," Jack whispered against the younger man's ear.

They were in a beach front room, the windows open to let in the salty scented breeze and the sounds of the ocean beyond. The room was fairly simple but elegant as was the en suite bathroom for later use!

Jack perched his chin on Ianto's shoulder and quietly waited while the younger man took it all in.

Ianto had to blink a couple of times at first to clear his vision, and take everything in.

He'd known they were going to a hotel - Jack's comment about room service had kind of given that one away - but he hadn't been expecting anything like this. Open and airy, with a window more than big enough to have a beautiful view of the beach, and a bed...

Well, should he have expected anything less?

"Wow," he said quietly, eyes roving over the room, taking in every little detail. Jack had really planned this down to the last detail, he thought.

"I see why you said I should take tomorrow off."

And Ianto was very pleased, a smile over his features as he turned and continued to take in the room as Jack nipped his earlobe.

"I have nothing against that," he said as Jack put their bags in the corner, watching the other man as he moved.

But, room service, or dinner? Both had their good points, and Ianto wasn't quite sure what sounded more appealing...

"If we were to go out, where would we go?"

[identity profile] king-coffee.livejournal.com 2008-06-03 06:09 pm (UTC)(link)
The possibilities. It would be very nice to go out, true... but the things they could get up to, with food. Then again, there was that really nice seafood place that Jack had taken him (and Loreana) to before, but considering what had happened later that day, Ianto didn't think he wanted to go back there all that much.

"I think we should get room service," he said, growing suspicious of what Jack was doing, and quietly made towards the bathroom to see if he could catch a glimpse.

Foiled.

And yes, it was very easy to tell that Jack was up to something, but there wasn't really any way for Ianto to find out unless he forced the issue, and he didn't want to.

"Okay then," he said, and made towards the bed and the menu, settling down to have a browse.

Ianto couldn't help but stare at Jack after the man emerged, it was a very rare sight to see Jack like that. Not to mention the whole outfit looked amazing on him.

"Uh," he managed, shaking his head after Jack sat down next to him, "I was thinking this." He pointed to the Tuscan Linguine, sun-dried tomatoes and herbs with the pesto sauce and chicken. "But I wasn't sure what you wanted."

He couldn't help but sneak another glance at Jack, though.

It was obvious that Jack knew exactly what he was doing to Ianto, judging by the way the older man walked over to the phone.

"Sure, why not?" he said, after all, by the time he'd finished, the food could have arrived, and Ianto was never one to say no a shower. Even if he was going to be having one alone.

So, he went to the bathroom and shut the door behind him, only to be greeted by the sight of a warm glow cast by some candles, and a note waiting for him. He read it with a smile and a good-natured shake of his head, Jack was really trying to spoil him, he could tell.

He began to get undressed, folding his clothes neatly over the rail.

Although Ianto was the kind of person who was generally self-sufficient, and sometimes got annoyed if people tried to look after him, he didn't mind it every once in a while, like this. Plus, if Jack wanted to spoil him, who was he to say no?

He used the soap in the shower as Jack asked, enjoying the way it made his skin feel fresh and tingly - he was quite sure it was peppermint - and took his time, because there really was no need to rush, and Jack had asked him to do so.

He suspected Jack was still up to something, but he was sure he'd find out, all in due time.

Eventually he emerged from the bathroom, towel wrapped around his waist and his hair sticking up in different directions from where he'd rubbed at it with the towel, and was greeted to the sight of more candles and their dinner laid out.

"You've really made an effort with this," Ianto said, smiling again.

Ah, he'd missed that. He accepted the robe from Jack and slipped it on instead of the towel, which went back into the bathroom.

With the chair, though, Ianto had to raise an eyebrow. He let Jack make the gesture anyway, sitting in the chair that Jack had pulled out, and waited for the other man to sit down as well.

"I'd offer to hold out your chair too," he said, "but we'd be here all night."

Ianto was in the process of accepting his glass - he hadn't really had any alcohol since he'd come back from the Mirror City, with good reason. Now was a good time to do so again - when he head Jack's cool-as-you-please comment and his eyebrows shot up in surprise.

So he behaved himself indeed.

He cleared his throat, and decided to carry on the conversation as normal, taking Jack's lead. "Yes please."

Yeah, that would be too much. If Jack had tried to feed him, Ianto would be looking for signs of alien possession.

He was smiling too, though, still, because he was genuinely having a good time.

But, if Jack wanted to play...

"Business, mostly," he said, casting a look at Jack, "looking for a certain Captain Harkness. You wouldn't happen to know him, would you sir?"

[identity profile] king-coffee.livejournal.com 2008-06-03 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)
"The devilishly handsome, avant-garde type, yes," Ianto replied, before taking a bite of the mushroom himself.

Yes, Jack, he sees your manners, and is impressed.

With the amount of whole jammie doughnuts Ianto had seen Jack stuff into his mouth in one go, he was very aware of that.

Still keeping his nice, calm demeanour, Ianto continued with a small smile.

"I say you suggest your price sir, and we'll see if I'm willing to pay."

Luckily, Ianto had swallowed his mouthful of chicken already when Jack made that comment.

The fork hovered between Ianto's mouth and plate as he looked over at the bed and then back again at Jack, unconsciously mimicking the other man's actions, a faint look of surprise on his face.

He only had to think about it for a second or two.

"I'd say that's a fair price," he said, cutting into his chicken again.
