log; in progress
When; Saturday, July 19th, evening
Rating; PG-13
Characters; Clow Reed (
i_themagician) and Rorschach (
not_walter)
Summary; Angry over Blitza's murder, Clow tries his own hand at vigilanteism.
Log;
He wore no mask, confident that he had little to fear and no one to hide from as he sat on the doorstep of one of the more vocal and self-righteous vigilantes in the City. Clow was calm on the exterior, his casual demeanor missing only the bottle of sake that was his accessory the last time he paid someone such a visit. He leaned against the door, counting the ticks of the clock to his quarry's projected arrival.
Tick.
Tock.

He was not entirely unsuspecting, however.

"Hello, Walter," came the warm and yet dark voice - the kind often reserved, in movies, for names like 'Clarice'. "Or should I say, Rorschach?"

"You have me at a disadvantage." The voice was monotone, cold.

Clow didn't happen to have brought his sword this time, either - it seemed a bit overkill to him.
"I expect that any physical violence will be initiated by yourself, but just the same," he added, moving to take a baseball-sized device out of one of the inner pockets of his trenchcoat, "my suggestion is that you come quietly."

"You're not above the consequences of murder, Walter, regardless of what excuses for it you may come up with."

Rorschach knew what Clow was doing. He took one swing with the sign, going for the legs. Just to hinder him, to make his escape easier. Whether or not it connected, he was running. Fast and far.

"You can't run forever, you know."

He didn't waste his breath on a comeback. He'd have to cover his tracks. Set up somewhere else. Come back later, get his face back.
