Ongoing Log

When: July 27

Rating: perhaps PG-13?

Characters: Hotaru, Michiru, Haruka

Summary: The trio settle in for a chat while sheltered from the icy snow

Log;

Michiru glanced out the window as she made her way to the kitchen. She started boiling some water in preparation for hot cocoa as she considered her life here in the City.

She had her Haruka back! The family that she and Hotaru loved so much was almost complete again. And yet… not really. The Haruka that had come to this place wasn’t the Haruka she’d left behind. Oh she was still lovely and strong, still ever the gentleman… But clearly, this Haruka didn’t have the paternal feelings toward Hotaru that Michiru had loved to observe so often. In fact, this Haruka had been sure that they’d both died trying to stop the coming of the Messiah. Michiru shivered as she remembered that time.

Since it was so cold outside, Michiru figured that today would be a good day to talk and clear things up. She had no intention of hiding the truth from this Haurka of the past. If Usagi-chan could handle meeting her future daughter, then the soldier of the sky certainly could as well.

And to think it was almost August, yet Hotaru was peering outside of the window, swearing to her self that it might as well be something comparable to December back at home. There was a western term for this -- Christmas in July? Well, it was certainly funny. It was even more perplexing, in the midst of Hotaru's own thoughts that people often wished for the temperature to be cooler, and yet... irony proved otherwise. Time was funny like that.

It had a way of warping and making things difficult, and the would-be little senshi of ruin let out a confused little noise. The snow served to be a reflective irony, for the current situation. But thank goodness Michiru-mama hadn't labeled her as the Messiah. Well... technicalities aside...

But what about the rest of them? Would they all come into the City, from points in time. It had her worried, and it had her more worried when her mind landed onto a certain pink-hair princess. What if she-?

Hotaru blinked, and rather randomly, Hotaru turned from the window, just catching sight of Michiru walking into the kitchen, and without a second thought, "Do you think Chibiusa-chan would come from the past too?"

The concept of time was hard to tell. Last thing Haruka knew before the incident was that it was warm. Perhaps mid spring-early summer. It was nice to be able to see snow again though. Her meeting with Michiru was somewhat unexpected, especially in the manner that she had. She mentioned something about 'curses' in this world but the blonde didn't bother to ask further then. It was just good to see her. The thought even now tainted her cheeks red as she slightly coughed into her hand.

A scarf around her neck from what she had found at Michiru's place, Haruka wandered the streets a little more to see what was around before heading back. Her partner had mentioned of meeting with this 'Hotaru'. The name still sounded familiar but she just couldn't put her finger on it. Where has she heard of it before and that voice... She made her way around the block and softly smiled as she spotted her destination.

Approaching the front door, the sky senshi turned the knob and walked in as she called out for the other to notice. "Michiru? I'm home."

[[ooc: Again, sorry for the delay and I hope this approach is ok for the both of you~ Let me know if it isn't and I could always fix it, ok? Oh! and is there a posting order or no? Thank you! =>W<= <33 ]]

Closing the door behind, Haruka pulled the scarf off her long neck and placed it back onto the coat hanger, where she had found it to begin with. The smell of the hot cocoa made her smile as she followed its scent to the kitchen.

Everything seemed to welcome her. The tidy rooms, the warm atmosphere, what a home should feel like, something she expected the sea senshi would create. Everything seemed so familiar... except one thing. As soon as she entered the kitchen, the blonde froze in place as she stared at the little girl by the window in shock. The professor's daughter? Why was Tomoe Kyoujuu (prof)'s daughter of all places... here?

Quickly glancing back over to her partner, Haruka gave her a stern look before speaking up. "...Why is she he...re?" Remembering the name again, she couldn't believe the possibilities that her friend was talking about. The poor little girl with a tragic past, her daughter? This was insane! "Masaka (It can't be that)... When you said Hotaru..., you couldn't have possibly meant that she's..." she continued on in a low, serious tone with one hand clenched in a fist. There was going to be a lot of explaining to do.
