log; in progress
When; Wednesday, July 30, early evening
Rating; Pg- 13
Characters; Tony Foster
darkest0knight and Saya Wallace
repairedbywebs
Summary; Tony goes a'walking and along comes a spider.
Log;
Tony did what he did best when he felt like shit. He walked the streets and tried to feed off the different moods of the crowds around him. Tried to blend, tried to meld with the people who were only worrying about why they kept breaking out in song, or what they'd have for dinner.
It wasn't working that well, mostly because he was too worried to blend, and also because the vibe on the street had a nervous undertone that wasn't helping. The streets were worried too.
Rather then trying to force it, Tony broke off from the crowds and started taking his path elsewhere, someplace quieter. Maybe the graveyard. It was always quiet there.

And so she sat in one of the trees in the graveyard and watched as Tony Foster, of all people, walked right through the gates like it was safe to do something so stupid. She tugged on one of her strings and smiled.
"Hello, Tony," she said clearly. "Nice day to recreate a bad memory?"
no subject
"I'm not here to recreate anything," he said, stopping a cautious distance away. He'd just have to find someplace else to sit and think.

Papa Midnite did not count.
She took another soft step forward. "Tell me, Tony," she whispered quietly, "Do you enjoy knowing that you may be the cause of someone's misery? I hear memory is involved, in this particular fight."

"I don't have any business with you."
And did he have a giant sign on his back saying 'please come hassle me all you psychopaths' or something? First Nicodemus, now Saya. And he didn't ask for it this time, really he didn't. It wasn't fair.

She crossed her arms. "I have business with you. You don't like to answer my questions, and you seem to take everything I say to heart; and so I have business with you. In and out."
She waited, watching the lines of magic around him. The Corinthian would have been better for this - or at least cleaner but she had to make do.

"I'm not taking anything you have to say to heart anymore, Saya. So don't worry about that."
He really wished he'd been able to find out more about controlling water from Constantine before the man'd buggered off to who knows where. He didn't think a powershot would help much against Saya.

"Nothing at all? Pity. Nicodemus doesn't even know where to strike to hurt you. Going after your rat; that's rather small, for a demon. Wouldn't going after something bigger and equally useless be much more of a warning?"
She watched. Just one bit of magic, one slice of power, and she could leave.

"Bigger and useless? Well maybe Nic just doesn't think you're a great target, Saya. Some people just don't like spiders."

"Then when he comes after me, I suppose I should go after Lee."
no subject
"I'll see you dead first."
He gathered his focus, pulling from his own energy stores, the lines anchoring him to earth and air and grass. The fingers of his left hand unfurled.

She wanted out.

Tony stumbled back, his focus shattered but the lines of power still traced in the air around him. What the hell was going on? What did she do?

It was a beautiful day in New York City, and she was going to relish every step.

Saya was gone who the hell knew where. He'd felt her riding the lines of his magic and felt her laughter too.
"Bitch," he muttered, pulling his PDA out of his pocket. He was getting the last laugh anyway. Her being out of the City meant one less thing to worry about and he didn't much care where she was now.
