[ log; complete ]
When; Evening after this, August 31
Rating; TBD
Characters; Rose Tyler (
hisplusone) and Aleera (
vampish_aleera)
Summary; Aleera and Rose meet to discuss things.
Log;
The blonde was no stranger to the Underground having explored it a bit on her own a few times. This time however it wasn’t just any old exploring trip, this time it was for answers to her questions. She had a meeting to make and had left her hefty weapon behind back at the flat. It wouldn’t do any good to bring it, since Aleera was an alley now after the whole Davros incident, though she still couldn’t quite remember it.
Carefully, she headed down an alley keeping a sharp eye out for anything that might be dangerous with one hand in her pocket, gripping her sonic screwdriver, like some good luck charm. Hopefully she wouldn’t have to use it.

The voice was close. Close and sudden. Aleera was a true huntress, skilled and with every day bringing her that much closer to undead greatness. Even the Vatican had warned the likes of Van Helsing that Dracula was not like most other vampires he had faced and his bloodied progeny were certainly a legitimate threat, if ever unleashed. Co-ordinated, they could take down most formidable prey, but even alone, each one was genuinely dangerous.
It had been spoken from the wall. Aleera had stealthily crawled down the vertical surface, with not a hint given away, as to her position. The predatory redhead's way of letting the girl know, albeit playfully, that she was perfectly capable of getting in close, should it ever be desired. 'Counting coup', as it were.
No more than a second later and she fell gracefully to ground level, landing with cat-like reflex, spine straightening with all the ease expected of a murderess so deadly in intent. Indeed, the only reason she had not simply feasted on and perhaps turned the girl, during the agreed rescue, was because of thinking the traumatised, virtually comatose blonde, as simply no fun as a victim.
Had Rose been fully alert, at the time, there was no telling what might have happened...
With a momentary flash of purple hue in nocturnal eyes, the regal vampiress offered greeting smile at her would-be prey. This, however, was understood as an exchange of answers, not flesh.
At least, for now.
"So glad you could come..."

"Aleera. Hi. Well you know, wouldn’t miss this for the world." She said trying to sound as normal as possible after taking a step back. "The Doctor told me to tell you ‘hello’ for him."

No, Aleera was very much without reason to hide her nature, her desires, her appetites... Her affections were flirtatious, yet almost always edged with razored suggestiveness.
Would she bite, if ever given the chance?
Without question.
Perhaps more disturbingly, was she capable of making it enjoyable? Causing a victim to relish in the embrace into sin and wickedness, should she so wish it?
Absolutely.
"The physician," she remarked, softly blinking back to meet younger female's gaze. "Yes..."
Aleera moved. A careful, calculatingly slow direction, gradually, softly, seeming to move around the girl. She was a shark and these were her waters. To have come here without strong means of warding protection, was almost akin to slitting one's wrists and jumping in, naked. Even if Rose retained a visual lock with eyes, Aleera's nature was such that the encircling was of an exploratory manner. Her way to test potential prey's reaction. To see if one would succumb to disorientation, respond with something similar or choose a completely unexpected course of action.
"You wish for answers, Rose... Just as I wish for mine..."
no subject
Slowly she withdrew her hand from her pocket still gripping her sonic device but not yet pointing it at her. There was no need yet and hopefully there really wouldn’t be. Not that the device could really do any harm.
"Yes, answers. But not here, yeah?" Rose suggested wanting to take her gaze off her just for a second but not really wanting to risk it. Some place with people would be safest and probably the wisest. "And no funny business. I sort of like being, um, you know alive." she warned still not moving but attempting to push down her fear if for just a second and give the ginger haired woman a stern look.

And there was just such a blatent implication behind it, the way it was said, that one could almost feel Aleera slipping into bed with a chocolate purr. Every poisonous torment within her power to inflict, a promise of sadomasochistic liberation, to be concluded only with a bite more sensual than any could ever be imagined.
If ever there was any doubt Aleera was not only perfectly capable of conducting herself with the most seductive of etiquette, but practically relished the same, then it was put to rest now. Shivers of desire were often more preferable to elicit in prey, than those of fear, but a perfect blend of the two was a perfect intoxication and one which the vampiress aspired to.
And were her sister also here, there would likely be no question that Rose Tyler's life was to end and begin anew in hunger and fangs.
"Tell me Rose..." The words trailed off, as Aleera ventured just that little bit closer. A delicate inhalation of the young woman's scent made through nose, so soft that one would have to strain to hear it and yet... Yet so evidently there. Aleera's hunger, Aleera's thirst, was so very tangible. By rights, unable to be, but still, it was conveyed. This, then, was perhaps why so many had fallen to her fanged clutches. "Where would you like us to exchange our... Views?"
no subject
When she noted that Aleera ventured even closer to her, closing in on her space or the little that remained of it, her mind screamed at her to press the button on her device. It wouldn’t take all that much effort but the blonde found that her body just refused to comply with what her mind was demanding. She stayed silent for some seconds. The words were there in her head, clear as day, but her mouth just wouldn’t move to mouth them, at least not yet. It was as if the blonde was under some sort of spell. Blinking, she finally found her voice, "A-a bar. Yeah. I know of one. They serve drinks and we can discuss our views there."
Yes, that would be best.
"So let’s go, yeah?"
no subject
And it was a literal purr, too. Loud and rich enough to not have sounded too out of place, if heard from a big cat. A certain lionine quality being given to this veritable tigress, full and throaty. the message behind it being given added weight, for the matter of the vampiress refusing to actually move for several long moments. No, Aleera just remained there, continuing in her visual appraisal of the girl, simply because she could. A demonstration of who between them held the power of life, death and even an ability to gift a compromise between the two.
"And your suggestions always hold such promise, Rose," she added, finally turning, although doing so in such a way, as she would be practically guaranteed to keep not only by the girl's side, but just slightly behind. The perfect position by which to suddenly take and do with her, whatsoever the vampiress might wish.
Aleera had never quite had reason to go to a bar, even one designed to serve vampiric and human customers, alike. Still, she was hardly one to miss out on the seductive intimidation of one Rose Tyler. It had become a favourite game of sorts, almost ever since arriving in this world.
"Drinking with you, should be quite the novelty, no?"
no subject
"I suppose it should be," she confirmed with a very nervous smile, while thinking that it was possibly the most safest way to go about it as well, while pocketing her screwdriver. She still wasn't sure if Aleera would be truth with her or not as far as her questions about the Darkness and Bad Wolf went, at least not sober. It could all just be a game. Just a trick.
She started to lead the way out of the alley and towards the entrance of a bar. She pulled back on the door, glancing behind her, knowing that the female vampire was there, following. Very closely. It still gave her a bit of the creeps, but hopefully soon things would calm down a bit.
no subject
Being directed to the bar, Aleera was now distracted from the girl. There were a rich variety of scents on offer here and blood, literally on tap, held definite appeal. One of the more undeaad type of clients, however, had eyed Rose and now moved intimidatingly towards her. A stocky, muscular creature, who looked like testosterone must be as much of a fuel as blood. A crude suggestion was made to the girl, but before the vampire could act on it, Aleera was already at the undead fellow's side, uttering a somewhat vicious warning of her own, involving his genetalia and the concept of barbecued flesh.
Clearly, the combination of that and the realisation of who she was, seemed enough to cause the figure to back down. There might be several variations of Dracula in this world, but only one was known to have actual 'brides'. Or at least, brides as active and violent as Aleera and her sister. To some, news of Verona's passing had not quite reached, meaning that the lethal triad seemed very much to be in full-blooded existence.
And with Rose, to all intents and purposes, marked as under Aleera's protection, any interested nearby members of the undead would know better than to make similar attempts.
Sometimes, it seemed there were definite benefits to having the vampiress interested in you.
Finding a pair of seats of their own, Aleera now pondered the glass of what she had requested. Her maker had famously said he never drank wine, but this... This was blood laced with alcohol for effect. Aleera always tried to drink directly form the arterial source. This really was something quite new for her or, at the very least, a rarity.
Taking a light sniff at the contents, the redhead dipped finger in, taking an experimental lick of the same. Deciding to rate it as 'interesting', she dipped head and took a sip.
no subject
"Good, yeah?" she asked before glancing down at her own glass which had a very normal and human drink. She was steering away from those Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters, absolutely swearing them off for good, since the two times that she had tried it really hadn’t been good for her afterwards. One really needed to have a taste for them or be alien.
She grabbed her glass and brought the rim to her lips taking a sip, not having really had beer in a long time. At least never in the City and she couldn’t ever recall ever having beer quite like this, as another small sip turned into a gulp.
"So, I get an answer and you get an answer, sounds good?" she asked but it was really more like a statement as she set down the glass, getting straight to business.
no subject
Just as well that she had ordered a bottle of it, really.
In fact, it was so curious, that only when she had consumed the contents, did Aleera look up with an absent-minded expression. Her mind recalling what had jsut been said from a few seconds ago and agreeing with a belated smile and characteristic, "Of course, Rose!"
Pouring out another, she placed it to lips. This time, resolving to make the swallows more drawn out.
"And tell me, darling Rose," she said, for Aleera's communications often seemed to involve repeitions of the girl's name, as if trying to condition her, somehow, "what would you care to have me say...?"
no subject
She pointed her index finger at Aleera, rearing her head back a bit. The very important question started to slowly slip away from her mind.
"Um, uh, well...pretty exotic..." She started off and then just laughed for no reason at all.
She frowned a bit and then pouted trying to recall. Her hand reached into her right pocket this time to pull out a mobile and place it on the table. "I know!" she eyed her freshly refilled glass and took another gulp for clarity only it managed to not really make things clear but fuzzier.
"...Bloody memory. I know though!" she said, flipping open her phone to press a single button as it started to call a number. It just rang and rang which brought out a frown out of the blonde. She snapped it shut muttering something under her breath about cookies.
"Soooo, you're happy with your family here, yeah?" It wasn't really the question that she had in mind but it had just slipped out.
no subject
The reaction from Rose, Aleera found to be amusing enough to raise brow and blink a couple or so times, before dancing a smile upon lips of her own. How curious... the living could be such ways, at times and, pondinerg this, Aleera resumed work on consuming what was in her own glass. She had agreed for a second bottle, because it simply seemed as if she would probably make it through the present one. There were only two or three glasses more left in it and, really, the effect was of interest.
Aleera, of course, had no knowledge of what a 'cookie' actually was. Or if she did, it had next to no effect on her existence and so was unlikely to be remembered.
"Oh, family..."
The query brought with it what seemed oddly like a necessity to refill her own glass and Aleera gave as much of a relatively depressed sigh as could be expected from her.
"I came to this world, shortly after... Oh, my poor Verona... she has vanished from here. We know not where to."
Another glass. Yes. That was waht she needed. To drink from that glass in her hand. the floaty feeling it seemed to produce in her mind, seemed to make thoughts nicer and... Hmm, why were her teeth feeling slightly numb? Or was that just the tip of her nose? Maybe she would know after a few more mouthfuls. It was quite inspirational, after all.
"You have hair so like Marishka's..."
The assertion of it was made with a wavering of hand by the side of the girl's head, fishing a few strands of blonde up by fingers with a much warmer smile than before. Warmth being something probably unexpected from the undead, but there it was. A certain... Weird friendliness, rather than the killing instinct of before.
"Sometimes I think the Master should attempt a different styling... Oh, but it is not my place to say... Say such things..."
Another mouthful of the glass and Aleera gave a bunching of shoulders, which seemed to translate into something of a shrug. She poured what was left from one bottle and filled up the remained by starting on the next. Family troubles... Hmm. A sometimes depressing subject, although she was unsure as to quite why that should be. Family was a wonderful, glorious thing, was it not?
"But, now, you see, the Master," she continued, her voice raising a few octaves higher, for just a fleeting moment, "he is..." She paused for a moment; the finger extended to accentuate her point, now seeming to slightly waver, before the vampiress gave a small, unlady-like burp of carbonated gas. A cough cleared her throat and then she looked back at Rose, again, except... Hmm, Aleera found that she had to squint to get her properly in focus. Strange. "He is always... Always ttelling us of what to do. This is because..."
The world felt like it was swimming for a few seconds and Aleera made a slow-motion grab for Rose's hand, as if to steady herself.
"Because we are brides and... And we have our place. This is as the world should... No - as things should be, you see."
A highly confused frown then visited itself upon Aleera's forehead and, taking a further sip from her glass for inspiration, hand still over the mortal's own, Aleera came to a sudden conclusion of logic.
"Rose...?" She said, looking at her with an expression of sadness. "I'm a bride and was never given a wedding! One... Only one of the blessing, but... I had no veil, Rose! No priest to wed us! Not even a ring, Rose!"
Oh, but this was terrible news! All these years and not so much as a honeymoon!

She couldn’t help but want to ease the vampire’s worry about the fate of her missing sister. People disappeared from the City all the time only to return to the same place and time in some cases from which they had left. Rose didn’t really know the other vampire’s fate before her arrival, not really having spoken to her or really wanting to for that matter. Before all this, she was a little scared by the trio’s network posts. "I’m sure that she’s probably back home waiting for you."
She wasn’t sure if Aleera knew this or not but thought it’d be good to tell her anyway. "You know, when you leave here you return from the same point in time from which you were taken. So it’ll be like no time has passed…at all." In some cases anyway as she pushed certain thoughts that were coming to the surface down with another drink. Things seemed a bit better now. "Or she could come back here." It certainly wasn’t impossible, though the blonde had a feeling that the red haired woman wasn’t really the hoping type or if she had been had long since given up or refrained from mentioning it.
There was a small smile that formed on the blonde’s lips at the compliment and a warm flush to her cheeks. No longer was she fearful of the vampire or her surroundings for that matter. "Thank you..."
She leaned back against her chair as she kept listening to the other woman’s words. "No it should be your place to say. Nothing wrong with suggesting things. What’s he gonna do throw a fit?" There was a certain look to her face as if displeased with a certain thought for a moment. Not that she could imagine someone such as Count Dracula doing such a thing. The blonde didn’t know if Aleera had meant clothes or hair, perhaps both. "Cast you off?" Not that she really knew about vampire society all that much. The little that she knew just seemed to vary from world to world.
The burp almost caused a fit of laughter to erupt as Rose just smiled widely. She gripped Aleera’s hand tighter. "Careful ttt-there." She caught the woman’s look and couldn’t help but feel sympathetic for her. She had always been under the impression that the brides of Dracula had, had their weddings. Something grand and dark and fitting, but to hear that not even a priest married them or that she was neglected to be given a ring, well that just wasn’t right. "Not even a ring?" she said with a frown before continuing on a tangent. "Honestly, men, undead ones, aliens, half and half. Weird odd ones with their strange strangeness and their broodiness. Puppy dog stalker. And horrible sense of fashion." And then a silly thought hit her, which wasn’t really all that silly.
She leaned further back in her chair and almost lost her balance as she yelped, pulling herself forward still holding the other woman’s hand. Her head was feeling a tad light but she knew what would fix it yet another drink. It was better.
She gave the woman a silly grin, "Aleera, you want your ring?"

Drowning her sorrows into the glass, Aleera's half-hearted sobs managed to blow muffled bubbles into the same, but she managed to knock one back, all the same, only to mournfully pour herself out another, as she listened to what was being said.
Ugh! The girl was right! Men! Even if she was bound and would never dare disagree with the Master and... And... Because... And... Well, he could be a bit mean, at times. And it was understandable, but... And when...
Aleera's thoughts were far from blessed with clarity now. In fact, they were very much floating in a sea of confusion. Not that she was really stopping to analyse why. Only to take yet another drink from the glass.
"Ring...?"
Aleera squinted again, realising that there seemed now to be two Rose Tylers, even if she knew only one was actually there.
"Mmmm... Pretty jewelsssss," the vampiress slurred. Something about the phrase giving her a reason now to burst, not into tears, but squiffling laughter. Her free hand brought up to mouth, as the giggles continued out of no reason, whatsoever, other than she was just helplessly amused.
"I thhhinkkk you... No... You..." She tried to point to the first Rose, then the second, but neither of the options properly worked. "Stay still, Rose!" Protested the redhead, giggling again, as she managed to touch finger to the tip of the girl's nose. Something about the visual wanting to make her act like the digits were the legs of a creeping spider, but not quite possessing the hand/eye co-ordiantion to make it happen. "I tthhhhnkkk youuuu, Rrrossssse... You are ssssspecialllll... But you... Mmmm... What was I to say? Oh, I forget!"
Collpasing into a further bout of giggles, Aleera attempted to stand, but did so in a severely unbalanced manner.
"W'shhhould cel'brate! With the dancings! Up, Rose, up!"
Attempting to pull the girl to feet, similarly, Aleera managed only to pull at the hand still linked to her own and somehow lurch forward ,across the table, leaving red hair over face like a curtain to peer out of and grin in odd fashion.
"I hhhhhave no 'nderrrrrstanding of where we are going, Rose!" Pushing a few strands away, forehead pressed to that of Rose's, as the erstwhile terror of Transylvania attempted to collect thoughts and realised an earlier question was still in need of asking. "Of whichhhh ring ddddd... D'you ssspeak, Rossssse...?"
no subject
She reached out with her hand to tenderly stroke Aleera’s cheek. "Youuu have such soffffttt skin! I wish my skin was that soft." She frowned again getting to the point of drunken tears, feeling the alcohol really hit her head now. She winced for a second before attempting to focus on the now three Aleera’s. This was…certainly interesting.
"Weeee haavvee to break in to get the pretty jewellll! But we can get it! All four of us! And then we can dance! With the alcohol. Because we can't hurt it's feelings."
no subject
"I thhh'nk I am nummmmmb... Yooooooou sh'ld warrrm me, Rrrrrse..."
Yes, that was what he usually intimidating and often baltently sexual Aleera's attempt at seduction, although she was at least able to phrase it in an alluring coo.
"Whe... Where is... Th's th'nnng...?"
Aleera, for apparently no reason, whatsoever, felt the sudden compulsion to glare at other customers and literally growl out a warning, but a returning look to what had most surely become her new best friend, in the whole wide world, gave the vampiress a reason to smile.
At least, until her attempt to move around the table culminated in a rather wobbling placement of feet. Muttering that she thought that maybe this meant she was sea-sick, Aleera hummed a happy little drunken tune, before taking the still-open second bottle in free hand and making a crook of finger with the same, attempting to beckon Rose to stand with her.
Albeit, in a daze.
"'Fff we dr'nk it, all thhhhhe f'lllngs will be inside us, Rose!"
With that, she took a swig of the contents and, this time, yanked Rose up with her. They had a quest! Somewhere to break in! Aleera just had to... Figure out where it was, first.
"To our adventure!"
no subject
"It's....I-iiiiit's." There was a frown to her lips. She knew the location, she was sure of it. She knew how to get there. "In the City. In a flat!"
The blonde got to her feet when pulled, feeling a rush to her head suddenly and causing her to stagger back a bit pulling Aleera with her. "Sooooo, sooooo, sorry! Yes to our adventure and success!" She wobbled closer to the table to grab her mobile and then turned to Aleera, linking her arm with hers.
"Lettttt's go get that shinnyyy ring," she said with a giggle leading her out of the establishment.
no subject
Yes, even when she got pulled along. Because, to Aleera, it was the equivalent of a fairground ride and she wore an expression bemused enough to match.
And so, the unlikely pair of murderess and time-travelling companion, made their ungainly way through the door. Aleera slurring out a drunken Romanian song of dirty words, all the way and, once through and out into the open air, attempting to teach Rose how to join in. Unfortunately, Aleera's sense of recollection was not at its most optimal, at that precise moment, meaning she effectively only got to rattle off a few phrases of filth, whisper their meanings into Rose's ear and then burst into further laughter at the sheer naughtiness of it all.
Taking a further drink from her bottle of bloodied alcohol, Aleera thrust it into Rose's hand. "Here! You try!" She demanded. Oddly, though, not in an effort to corrupt. Aleera was genuinely of the belief that she should share such a wonderful substance.
no subject
Her nose twitched slightly as she swallowed the strange mix down. The taste was…like nothing she had never had before. Strong yet...with something else. She couldn’t place her finger on it.
"This is sooooo goooooddddd! No wonder you drink it all the time!" She handed the red head back the bottle not wanting it finish it off just yet. "You do drink it all the time, righhhhhtttt?"
no subject
But even to a supremely drunken Aleera, the visual of Rose arching back her neck, slaking thirst with blood and announcing her discovery of it as being delightful... It was understandable that she at least raiseed eyebrow, for the vampiress was quite positively in awe. Considerably more so than if she were sober, of course, but still, extremely impressed.
On the other hand, there was always the possibility that Rose Tyler was one of those personalities who found the taste of blood appealing, now that it had actually been sampled.
Whatever the case, Aleera liked it.
"Oh yes... Verrry muchhhhhh..."
That sentence would not have drawled so much, were it not for the drink. Nevertheless, Aleera did what came naturally to her; managing to somehow guage how to loosely place palms on either side of Rose's head and swipe tongue sensually over face. It was done with the purpose of both tasting the obvious lingering flavour of crimson plasma still upon the blonde's mouth and, of course, to register sexual affection - just as had been the case with fair Princess Anna.
For the somewhat animalistic vampiress, it appeared not too different to a kiss. It simply differed in being done with the taking of flavour in mind, above all else.
She was seductively sinful, after all.
With that done, the vampiress shook head in an almost post-coital fashion, taking the offered glass container to press lazily to her own lips. Aleera's aim, however, was not too good, meaning that any attempt to look calm and collected ended up being a tad comical in effect.
"I fffffly you therrrrre, R'seee? You say where ttt'go an' w'shhhall do this, yes!"
no subject
And then she watched as if entranced by Aleera only for it to be broken by laughter at the bottle missing its mark.
"Flyyyyy...really?" Her eyes lit up at the thought but then she frowned. Wouldn’t that be the same as drinking and driving? Another shake of her head and Rose decided to go for it. After all there really wasn’t anything in the sky that they could crash into.
"Let’s go then! To the flat!"
no subject
"To Switzerland...!"
Quite what Switzerland had to do with anything, was very open to question. Nevertheless, it was Aleera's chosen battle cry of the moment and, with a little added effort, she managed to soar into the clouds, blonde in tow. At one point, Aleera lsot her grip and Rose began tumbling back down to Earth, before Aleera realised she was missing somehting, verbalising it with a puzzled, "Oh," only to dive right back down and catch the girl in mid-air.
"Wh'ch wayyy, R'ssse?" She quizzed, hovering in the night sky. "We fly fast!"
no subject
Hopefully the landing would be smooth. Crashing was not an option for their mission to be successful. By the end of the night Rose was certain that the bride would have her ring even if in the morning they'd both have one hell of a hang over.
