When; The evening of September 26th (Back-dated like ftw)
Rating; G
Characters; Yumichika [livejournal.com profile] too_ugly and Ikkaku [livejournal.com profile] pachinko_head
Summary; Last resort. Yumi orders Ikkaku to get the monster dogs out of his room.
Log;

Yumichika stood in the doorway of his bedroom, irritation etched deeply into his face. With both arms folded over his chest, he waited for Ikkaku to oversee his current situation. Two dogs of inhuman size lay sprawled lazily on his bed. The smaller of the two, a german shepard which he didn't care to remember the name of, huddled at the foot. The larger, a breed that he doubted science could even place, took up the entirety of the upper portion of his bed and didn't even bother to regard him with a glance. It appeared to be in deep sleep, massive head cradled by Yumichika's finest set of pillows and sheets. He would have much preferred it to be dead, but a warning from Zaraki forbid him to take his desired choice of action toward the animal. Unable to kill it and dispose of the body, he was left to seethe and plot a way to remove both dogs as soon as possible. What better way to not get his hands dirty than to shift the responsibility to Ikkaku? Frowning deeply, he impatiently called for his friend.

"Ikkaku!"

How many times in his life had Ikkaku been called upon to do Yumichika's dirty work? Considering the centuries between them, too many times to count. And yet, when Yumichika's foot started tapping and he got that tone in his voice, Ikkaku still caved. That either said something about their friendship, Ikkaku's intelligence, or Yumichika's wrath. In any case, it worked.

"Yeah, yeah."

Leaving behind the communicator in his room, the third-seat rubbed his face tiredly as he appeared in the doorway of Yumichika's room and surveyed the damage. Sure, there was some drool on the pillows and dog hair on the sheets, but it wasn't like Yumichika didn't change those way too often anyways.
