Regulus was true to his word in that he arrived at the potions shop even earlier than normal to open up - which was a feat, seeing as once Claire had told him that he opened up before the worms woke up.
It was fine by him - he was always an early riser, and now he felt even less of a need for sleep. It simply resulted in more time at work or more time with new friends and acquaintances.
Today just happened to be the former. He'd gotten up, changed his clothes (he was dressing in a Muggle fashion more and more often lately, though that was beside the point), gotten some tea, and went to the shop. While he could have Apparated, he chose to walk instead - it was nicer; the cold helped wake him up even more.
He paused outside the door, moving to unlock it.
