Log: Ongoing--Treasure Hunt Location #6

When; Wednesday, October 29
Rating; G? Probably PG at most.
Characters; Open to participation from Angelica ([livejournal.com profile] prototipo) and Ikuto ([livejournal.com profile] cat_on_strings) [and their respective treasure-hunting parties].
Summary; The treasure hunt is over; the final location has been revealed, and now it's time to go see what the treasure of Peg-Fisted Jack really is!
Log;

Hidden at the very end of the hallway, tucked away in the shadows, the intrepid followers of Peg-Fisted Jack’s badass pirate treasure map challenge will uncover…a different chest, for once!

And within that chest, they will find an assortment of FABULOUS TREASURE!

So, this is the treasure of Peg-Fisted Jack! Man, that's some pretty shiny treasure. And since you've successfully followed the clues...well, that must mean that you're the true heir of Jack's legacy! Great work! Leonard the Barnacle would be proud of you.

...But, of course, there's still one TEENY little problem: how are you going to divvy up the treasure? Now there's a conundrum worthy of a pirate!

[OOC Notes: IT'S OVERRRRRR! Feel free to distribute this fabulous treasure amongst yourself; it, like most of the other booty you've uncovered on this hunt, is all relatively inexpensive costume jewelry, and it's meant for the people who followed the clues, so don't be shy! Also, the characters who still have IC questions might want to keep their eyes peeled for the next few days, because who knows? The creators of this badass pirate challenge might just have a few follow-up plans of their own...

It's like .

[identity profile] cat-on-strings.livejournal.com 2008-10-30 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
[After a few minutes of wandering, he found the chest, once again tucked into a dark corner. It was the first time he'd been there; the faces that stared down from the walls were almost creepier than the graveyard last night. Questions sprang to mind about why a place that claimed that you could never leave would have a hall that showed the people who had accomplished what was supposed to be impossible. He'd heard the rumors; that the deities kept them there because the clock was counting down to the end of the world, or some other such nonsense. Was this place another sort of graveyard, then...?]

[Ikuto decided to save those thoughts for another time. Right now he was more interested in what lay inside the chest. Would it be another clue? When would they find out the intentions of who had planned all this? He turned back to Amu.]

Hey. It's over here.

[This place was kind of strange, she's never really been here but it was nice to see it was possible to leave, even if from what she'd heard, it was something that happened when you least expected it.

She glanced over towards Ikuto as he spoke]

Okay, let's go see what's inside it this time, then.

btw, there's a tag on the other one, unless we're just not keeping up with them. And ignore fail.

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-10-30 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
It's . . . I've only been here once before. It's weird.

[identity profile] cat-on-strings.livejournal.com 2008-10-30 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
[He walked over to the chest and opened it. This one looked different than the others... He glanced inside. There was the assorted treasure, like always, but no clue. Was this it? This was the end?]

Hmm.

We'll keep up with them. :D Ignoring fail.

It's very quiet.

Okaaaay. And dkjhddf thank you.

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-10-30 03:22 pm (UTC)(link)
M-Mm. [Even though she knows that most people have gone back to their home world, which is a positive thing, it's very ominously creepy. She didn't know how some people could stand it here so often. She was trying very hard to not look at those that had left.] So, where do you think they'd put the treasure chest?

Welcome welcome. I just realized I wound up dropping another tag. D:

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
Under one of these pictures.

S'okay. <3~!

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
Ah . . . whose, do you think?

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
[She was starting to feel uncomfortable again. She wished it had just been in the door frame, or somewhere near it.

Wait. That was it! Where was the place she'd most like it to be? By the entrance-way! So, that meant that the chest had to be . . . ]
We need to go down the darkest, creepiest hallway!

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
Probably.

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
So, now we just need to find out which one that would be . . . probably the one furthest from the door.

[She couldn't believe herself for so happily coming to that conclusion, but new things happened every day. Since she gathered that Angelica had never been here before, she takes the lead, remembering all the passageways and maneuvers through the place]

Kay, resuming Saturday night. <3!

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 09:01 pm (UTC)(link)
[Just as she reaches her least favorite area, because honestly, the darkness here does nothing for her ease in this place, she notices that the shadows are a bit off.] Aah . . . the treasure?

Oopa! :D

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-10-31 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)
The treasure...?
guardianjoker: (What did you say?)

[personal profile] guardianjoker 2008-11-01 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
[She watched as he looked inside the chest]

What is it?

[identity profile] cat-on-strings.livejournal.com 2008-11-01 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
There's no clue. It looks like this is the last treasure.
guardianjoker: (Well...)

[personal profile] guardianjoker 2008-11-01 10:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Really?

I guess it is the last one then.

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-11-02 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Mhmm! I'm pretty sure that's it. C'mon! Let's go open it.

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-11-02 10:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay!

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-11-02 10:48 pm (UTC)(link)
[She stands close to her, and looks into it] Woah . . .

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-11-04 10:44 pm (UTC)(link)
That's a lot of stuff.

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-11-05 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
Y-Yeah. Do you think there's another clue around here somewhere close?

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-11-05 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Most of the time it's in the chest... the first one was near the chest though.

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
Mm, well, let's look, then.

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
Okay!

[]

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 06:20 am (UTC)(link)
[And Hiyori is looking on the other sides, and maybe a little bit in that corner over there, and perhaps lifting up that really shiny coin, because you never know.]

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:41 pm (UTC)(link)
[She wasn't getting too far with the search, but she hadn't been too helpful with that in the past, anyways.]

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't see anything.

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, neither do I. What should we do?

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 04:00 pm (UTC)(link)
The only clue that we've had to search for was from the first chest. They've all been in the chest after that...

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
D-Do you think this was the last one?

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I... I don't know. It didn't say...

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh. That's . . . unfortunate.

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 09:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe...

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-11-07 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
So, what do we do now?

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-11-07 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
Is this the end?

[]

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-11-07 06:53 am (UTC)(link)
Of the treasure hunt? I don't know, I guess if we can't find anymore . . .

Although, I wonder who that 'L.' was.

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-11-07 05:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess. We didn't get to learn much about that person.

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-11-10 03:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Mm, but we had a lot of fun with it, though!

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-11-10 07:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Mhm. I wonder if we can do this again.

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-11-11 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe. Even if we don't, we'll still be friends.

[identity profile] prototipo.livejournal.com 2008-11-11 02:36 pm (UTC)(link)
That will be good.

[identity profile] doujin-dork.livejournal.com 2008-11-11 04:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Definitely.
