Log, ongoing:
When; Wednesday afternoon
Rating; PG, most likely.
Characters; Gabriel Sylar
makes_you_tick and Mohinder Suresh
orderonto
Summary; Mohinder agrees to meet Gabriel to talk.
Log;
Gabriel reached the doors to the Turnabout Cafe early- a look to the nearest clock told him he was only about ten minutes ahead of schedule. He really should fix his own watch now that he ran on a schedule, he knew, but he couldn't quite bring himself to do it. He wasn't ready for that sort of step.
He found himself nervous as he waited in the lobby of the cafe. It wasn't something he'd let himself show outwardly, of course, but he'd been wanting to talk to Mohinder face-to-face for awhile now. It would give him a much better indication than the network of how genuine Mohinder thought he was being. So maybe nervous wasn't the right word- rather, he was excited. He had made progress with Peter and had plans for Elle, he was on speaking terms with Eden, and now he was making some sort of progress with Mohinder. It was very encouraging.
He wasn't wearing black for once, although the dark grey dress shirt probably wasn't far enough off the mark. He just couldn't make himself go back to sweater vests and cardigans, and he didn't feel he needed to. However, the formal clothing and glasses made him give off the air of a bank teller, and he felt rather nerdy as he told the hostess that he was waiting for someone. He grabbed a newspaper and sat in one of the lounge chairs, pretending he wasn't keeping an eye on the clock.
