Summary; After hearing he has another cousin in the City, and especially after finding it would be a bad idea to pursue it, Obito lets Sasuke take him to Itachi.

Obito tried not to fidget. The City was bustling with the excitement of New Year and back in the apartment his teammates and people they cared about (and so by extension people he cared about) were partying and having fun. He should be there. No, he should be back home where Rin and Kakashi were twelve years old and the people he’d been thinking about non-stop since his entry in the little... device thing, hadn’t even been born yet.
Not one but two blood relations in this place. And he’d been warned to stay away from both of them. He’d never been very good at following the rules and regulations.
He tapped his fingers against his leg as he waited next to the fountain for Sasuke.
(I thought it might fit in well if Obito goes when the New Year’s party is going on as it’s a little distraction for him to slip away. Although he used his ninja skillz, if someone wants their character to have noticed he wasn’t there and found it suspicious, or say they noticed and followed him, whether that’s by joining in this log or assuming it later, all this is fine with me!)
