The light brush of Akito's hand that ghosted across Tohru's cheek sent a faint shudder down her spine. Although the act was almost tender, even as his fingers began twining within her hair, the heavy atmosphere seemed to contrast the teasing show of gentleness. Although he spoke in a soft voice, as though to a child, the words stung, biting into her soul with the pointed barbs.

I-I am being honest...I couldn't even lie if I wanted...

Before she could answer though a sharp, painful tug on her hair forced Tohru's face to the floor. Hands moving ahead of her, they shot to either side to prevent her face connecting to the ground beneath her.

"I-I'm not lying!" Tohru attempted. A winch crossed her face and she found herself unable to move, the strands of her hair pulled taut against Akito's iron grip. The action had caused her to lower her head to the God, so that she was literally forced into a bow. There wasn't much release, or slack he gave to allow her to move. Heart racing, she raised her voice, trying to honestly convince him. "I wouldn't do anything to them-! I don't want...I don't want to dirty anyone!"

Mind reeling she tried to think of a way to convince him. Nothing had been premeditated!

"I-It was a curse... and today-! I can't lie. I'm cursed so that I can't lie at all, which means I can't help but be anything but honest to you!"
