Log; Complete

When; Sunday, April 12th, evening.
Rating; idk. PG-ish? Nothing crazy here, folks.
Characters; Dr. James Wilson ([livejournal.com profile] dr_conscience) and Morgana le Fey ([livejournal.com profile] sleepyseer)
Summary; Oh dear. It's a scandalously May-October date, bbz.
Log;

The restaurant was nice. It wasn't anything too fancy or ostentatious; it was tasteful, classy, but comfortable despite its formality. Wilson opened the door as they approached, smiling warmly at Morgana as he held it for her, gesturing grandly to indicate that she, of course, should enter first.

As he walked in himself, his thoughts were rushing through his head. This was crazy. She was young - very young, much more so than any other woman he'd ever even considered dating. Though it didn't bother her, it did make him feel a little bit self-conscious... it made him question whether this was really right for him to be doing. He was, after all, just at the beginning of a divorce back home, and he'd only been here for a couple of months. Was he just latching onto whatever connection presented itself, contenting himself with the company of a drastically younger woman? He knew he didn't feel that way, but he couldn't help but doubt himself.

Still, it was clear that Morgana was special. Charming, elegant, and very much unlike any of the women he'd been interested in before. Maybe it was the right decision to break the pattern. The age difference be damned; she was an adult, she could make decisions for herself, and she obviously didn't have a problem with how old he was. How much did age really matter, in a place where time held such little meaning? Besides, it was just one date; just dinner.

I have to stop analyzing everything.

He calmed himself, sighing and smoothing his shirt out as he approached the employee by the counter just inside the door.

"Hello, I have a reservation? It should be under Wilson."

The employee found it quickly and began to lead them to their table... well. Here it went.

Just. Calm down.
