When; midnight, April 16
Rating; PG
Characters; Blair
miss_waldorf and Arthur
thefutureking
Summary; Careful what you wish for~ ♥
Log;
Of course, the ending to Roman Holiday was a sad one, but Blair liked knowing how things will turn out and if it was changed then she would be mightily upset.
Life was a bit different from movies, to her displeasure, and she could never know how it would turn out. That did not stop her from planning every detail of her future, but sometimes one needed to plan other people's futures to secure one's own. This sometimes proved difficult; but not impossible, never impossible.
Now that Arthur was part of her life, she needed to include him in her agenda too. The only problem was that maybe her plans were not grandiose enough for the likes of him. Blair's future was filled with Yale, a respectable career, an excellent marriage, and maybe a villa in the Hamptons. But his included a kingdom, just to start. Yet she still tried to control whatever of his grand future she could hold in her little hands, like giving him that Kevlar vest. Keeping him alive would be a start.
Watching him prepare to leave, after the three-hour movie marathon, she really felt like Gregory Peck, watching Audrey Hepburn leave for good. From the living room, the grandfather clock tolled twelve times, marking the time. The ticking would start again once he left, right?
Blair stood by the doorway, fiddling with the trimmings of her white robe, her eyes on him. "I wish you could just stay with me."
