Log; ongoing
When; Wednesday Night
Rating; PG-13
Characters;
warconductor Major and
guardianhime Yuuki Kurosu
Summary; The second of Major's prisoners finds themself in Hell. Pureblood and powerful, possibly. But evil does not require purity of blood to spread.
It only requires the audacity to do that which none other would.
Log;
It is in all likelihood that when Yuuki Kurosu opened her eyes, she would wish she hadn't.
The Deus ex Machina II is not a place under most circumstances. The screams are terrifying, the ceilings low and cramped. It was a ship built for war and experimentation. It was utilitarian and terrifying.
This effect was often increased when restrained to an examination table.
"Guten morgen. Has your head recovered?"

...Huh..?
Nothing was familiar. With a struggle, she forced herself out of sleep, and immediately sought out the individual in possession of the accented voice.
The moment her eyes fell onto the target however, her heart stopped.
Eyes widening in horror, recognition lit her gaze. In her half a year in the city, she'd never met this individual in person, but over the past couple of weeks it would be impossible not to recognize exactly who he was.
"Y-You're..."
No. Hazily memories came back to Yuuki, and she remembered the vampires they'd encountered after offering her help to Lelouch, the fight she'd put up against them before abruptly having blacked out. It felt as though her stomach had just dropped. Immediately she moved to sit and was met with the resistance of the restraints that kept her pinned to a table. Realizing the exact position she was in, the desire to escape immediately caused her adrenaline to rise and she frantically struggled to try and escape what kept her pinned down. Why!?
"W-What are you...trying to do!?"

He smiled.
"But I rather suspect you weren't being so general."
no subject
"Kidnapping me...doesn't help in accomplishing any sort of twisted goals. Where am I?"
no subject
He pours a glass of wine.
"And I wouldn't say that just yet. I will say, though. My men find you... most interesting."
no subject
His men...? That meant that those who had attacked her...and Lelouch, she realized with sudden worry, wondering if he'd been able to escape and where he was now, belonged to 'The Major'.
"Those vampires..."
Her heart pounded loudly in her chest, her fingers clenching tightly. When she'd realized that their attackers had not been human, panic had swollen thickly in Yuuki's body. Ever since she was little, she'd always been the target of vampires, her blood, for whatever reason, drawing them to her. It was something she'd never fully understood. She shuddered a little, the fear that she always carried heavy on her mind.
A vampire...could eat me.
Was it the scent of her blood then, that had landed her into this position? Unwilling to say anything on the subject of her blood, if possible, she didn't want to tell him anything at all.
"I can't imagine...why...."

For a brief moment, the light filtered through the dark red burgundy and caught in his glasses.
For a very brief moment, his glasses held the blood red stained light before the full white took center stage again.
"Well, it will be quite interesting to find out, won't it? It's quite exciting! A great challenge. We must look forward to it."
no subject
"W-What do you mean...?"
Did he intend...to let them at her? Squirming within her confines, she felt completely terrified as they didn't let up, not even a bit. What did he have planned!? What was supposed to then happen to her?
The memory of what he had done to those innocent people he'd kidnapped in the past was enough to make her almost want to throw up.
"Don't touch or come anywhere near me. T-There are lots of people who will be looking for me, including several vampire hunters. If you care about your own life, or those of your 'men', then you'd stop now."

A horrific scream came from a nearby cell. A shriek of one whose sanity has been ripped from them not by horrific sight, or unknowable madness.
But by simple, rote, trauma. Blunt, dull, and scientific.

Her body had long before begun to tremble on its own, and she continued to fight the restraints. As the cry tore through the small cell, her eyes darted about wildly and she clenched her teeth.
Z-ZERO. Frightened out of her mind she wanted him, and yet she was so relieved that he wasn't here, strapped to a similar table. Her words had mostly been bravado, an attempt to make him second guess himself.
"War. What do you stand to gain from wanting to create that kind of mess!?" Her tone was pitched and anxious. She wanted to keep him talking, keep him distracted. "Read enough history, and you can learn that it never turns out well for anyone."
If she kept him talking to her, then maybe when she escaped she'd be able to relay any important information she gained to others to stop him and his insanity. Because she WOULD escape. If she couldn't think or act on the belief that she'd be fine, she knew she'd have a nervous breakdown right then and there.

He sipped again at the red wine. "But as for history, I'm afraid you are quite right. Wars turn out violent. Wars turn out ugly." He nodded towards the Swastikas on the worktable folders. "I have seen it with my own nearsighted eyes. But in that ugly violence. Where the Panzer Tank breaks through the defense and the new recruit stabs an already dead soldier over and over again?"
He shrugs.
"In that conflict lies... the unspeakably sublime."
no subject
"There isn't anything sublime about that..."
Was he human? Unlike Zero, she didn't have the same ability to immediately distinguish another human from a vampire. She was generally fine about that in person, the atmosphere she felt often becoming a little darker usual, but she couldn't always tell.
"The doctor...The Major...don't you have names?"
She didn't know if there was any useful information she could gain, if he simply liked to do these things for the twisted pleasure of it. Still...
"Was I the only person you took captive?"
Lelouch... She had no idea if he was safe or not.

He finished the wine and placed it to the side.
"An interesting question. What do you think?"
[[OOC: Major's a cyborg, if you're curious.]]

Alcohol only made individuals act even worse than their natural selves...
Scared...I-I'm really scared, right now. Those people... She couldn't shake away the gruesome image. Was that what he wanted to do to her as well!? Or more...as an individual who attracted vampires...and a young teenage girl...she was terrified.
"I...I think if there was someone else with me, you wouldn't have wanted to leave any witnesses..."
no subject
His glasses caught the light again.
"Now, what I am curious to know is if you even know why you are so interesting to my men."

A sudden worried expression crossed her features. Unless it was due to her public announcement concerning Hellsing. Integra had berated her, telling her that it was dangerous and that due to her actions she had possibly put herself and Yori and Zero into danger.
B-But would that be grounds for having them be solely so focused on me...? It wouldn't be an attempt to lure Zero out, could it? The thought made her clench her teeth. She didn't know for certain...in the end, it most likely wasn't that at all...
She had been outside. A group of vampires had targeted in on her, and Lelouch. Wasn't it often, like that...?
It's my blood...
Her blood had always been especially desirable to vampires. She had no explanation, no reason she could give. It had simply always been like that. Even Zero...had been attracted to her blood. It was a relief to her that despite having been attacked by a total of five vampires...she didn't feel a fresh bite mark adorning her neck.
I can't tell him anything about it.
She didn't have a reasonable explanation, but even if she did, she wasn't about to offer up any information on herself willing.
"They're sick and like to target teenage girls? I wouldn't know the mind of a person like you, or them."

The heart in her chest quickly sped up as an escalated feeling of fear shot through her. One of the vampires...? Swallowing thickly she tried to think past the blood rushing through her veins.
"W-Why should it interest you!? What are you intending to do?"
A vampire...could eat me.
"J-Just let at least Lelouch go." Was it simply because he was around me, that we're both in this position? "If you're curious about my blood, then there isn't a reason to keep him!"
no subject
"Ahhh, but I never said I was just curious about your blood, was I? No, Lelouch has his own interests. We all have our own interests, that which makes us unique."
no subject
With The Major, however, Yuuki didn't trust a single thing about him.
"Blood...work? You're....You're simply going to take my blood?"
A nervous glance was directed toward the vampire in the room. She didn't want the major touching her at all, but especially not if he was to draw her blood while in the presence of a vampire. Even Aidou...a noble vampire, had taken advantage of her blood when he'd smelled it. A vampire that worked for this person frightened her much more than any of the noble class or Kaname, who had amazing control and restraint.

He leaned in conspiratorially. "One must be thorough in science." He glanced. "Oh, don't worry, they won't be drinking any. My men are battle hardened. War hardened. They have waited decades for our moment. They know discipline. They know orders."
no subject
"As far as I know, no one has been here for past possibly three years. You've waited a decade to simply create chaos in a world in which it almost seems impossible to die..."
