Collecting sources

Characters; Tenou Haruka, OPEN
When; Evening of 6/29
Where; The Arena
What; Expanding her sources by checking out parts of the Underground when she has off from work to find out more about the City, the baddies, and the deities. [Notes: She is wearing a male dress shirt and pants for the occasion.]
Rating; PG-13? (depends what's going on)

Haruka had never been so fed up with looking through paperwork in her life. Having been promoted in the police force, she had been working overtime to become familiar with the proto calls and such with not much time for herself in the recent days. Hotaru's sudden appearance back in the City didn't make matters easier either. She had a vague idea of what had happened in the future of her world but any other detail had never been spoken about. At least that's what Pluto suggested it was for the best. The girl had been acting strange lately up until a day or two ago when she seemed like herself again. Haruka had a bad feeling about it but what was there to do about it except wait and see a little more before taking any actions.

The blonde looked up at the building with stern eyes before walking in. This wasn't the most ideal place for her taste but there were bound to be people who know the ins and outs of the City. If she ever wanted to make it out of this world, she knew she had to work extra hard for the information. Haruka took a seat and ordered herself a drink as she slyly ease dropped into people's conversations around her.

There were still a few places in the City that he hadn't been. Roxas had told him about the Arena, but up until now he didn't have any desire to go and visit. Granted, that was some tricky phrasing, but even aside from that, it was for fighting. Demyx didn't like fighting, and therefore never thought of visiting.

But that curse he'd just been affected by had his interest piqued by this place. He was some weird fish, and that was weird, but he had wanted to get stronger. And while being strong wasn't bad, when he wasn't cursed, it wasn't something he focused on all too much. Either way, he decided to go now.

He appeared among the seats with a faint noise, from a portal of swirling darkness, his hood up as he looked around.

[OoC: Er, I think I'm doing this right, but is she in the Arena or in some bar?]

As he was looking around, he somehow failed to notice that there was someone else fairly close to him. As someone who was pretty physical, he had a slightly different way of looking around than any normal person. Instead of either walking in a straight line and turning his head, he walked sort of curvy, and had a habit of walking backwards every so often, moving his head and arms all over.

Due to all this, he winds up bumping into Haruka. "Huh-woah!" He manages to remain standing, which is a good thing!

[OoC: That's what I thought but I wasn't sure dfkjhdsajk no, s'cool! ♥ ty, bb Also, feel free to say that Haruka fell or only got bumped a little, idc, whatever~]

He grinned a little. "Oh, guess I didn't see you there." The unsaid 'sorry' practically hung in the air. He didn't apologize; he hadn't since the first week in the Organization. It hadn't seemed right, and he'd even gotten chastised for it once. So he didn't do it anymore. There were a few social graces like that that he did the same with. He saw other people doing them all the time, but then again, he wasn't like other people. He reached up and pulled his hood down.

Sober up, that meant that she thought- "Huh? I'm not drunk." And here he pouted when adding, "And I'm not trying to hurt anyone."

[OoC: Pffft, hilarious. ilu. ♥]

What a weird guy- and that was just how he referred to everyone, regardless of gender. "'M not a kid. I'm a Nobody. And I'm already dead anyway." Not that he wouldn't portal away if he got into that sort of situation, but they were acting funny.

Sarcasm goes riiiight over his head. "He barely even knew me. He just thought I was a 'bad guy' because of the coat." Okay, so he had stolen something in the Underworld, but that was hardly a reason to kill him. "Anyway, he doesn't want me dead anymore. I think. I'm pretty sure, anyway."

He couldn't tell that she was watching him more intently, just that she was staring at him. "Well, he says he's keeping an eye on us . . . " He blinked. "Oh, well, people kept telling me about it, and after that curse, well, I'm pretty sure that I wanted to battle. So I came to see if that would do anything." Maybe make him feel something while standing there.

[OoC: Totally okay! I am a huge backdating whore. ♥ kdjshkf you're so cute.]

"The kid who killed me back in my world." Oh, right, he usually had to specify beyond 'the kid'. "Sora." He didn't think he was actually going to try anything; he was keeping an eye on him, after all.

Oh, right. "Who're you?"

[OoC: No problem! I know what you mean. Fff, you're welcome.]

He was starting to wonder about this whole thing, especially when he got that look. But the name exchange sort of righted the whole thing somehow. He must have gotten more used to that in the City than he thought. "Tenou. I'm Demyx."

This was a definite new thing. He blinked a bit, especially at the phrasing. Enjoy each others company? That was a little odd sounding. Did people do that? He thought it over a little while before deciding there couldn't be too much wrong with it. He sat down.
