Log; ongoing
When; Friday 31st July. BACKDATED.
Rating; Kirin-friendly.
Characters; Twelve Kingdom crew & friends & guests. Basically, if you were in good terms with Youko, Shouryuu, Enki, Keiki or Taiki, you're invited.
Summary; En-Ou's first birthday celebrated in a few hundred years!
Log;
After the sound defeat of getting a ship to set the party, Youko went for the plan B-or plan A if she looked at it chronologically-and moved all her preparative to a spot of the beach. It was different from Rin’s chosen one, a little at the south, in a less recurrent area to hide this from Shouryuu’s curiosity stroll. The trees on the surrounding area had balloons tied on its branches.
On the sand, ten beach balls were lined up together, next to it the setup net for volleyball for whoever interested. The drinks placed beneath parasols and over towels on the sand, plastic cups pilled beside them. Unto the rockier area, further from the sand, she had arranged the food, snacks and less cheap sea dishes she knew the Ever-King of En would appreciate. Two large watermelons had been sliced as aperitifs for the guests.
Youko sighed, wiping a drop from sweat from her brow. The cake had been the hardest to transport by its size and to keep from melting with the heat and the weight from five hundred and twenty nine candles on top. Umi’s spell on the icing had been very handy. Huh, She observed as she glanced at the cake topping. Shouryuu needed good lungs to blow all those candles
Ten minutes ago, she had texted Shouryuu to summon him into this spot for training. She hoped he hadn’t suspected anything, but she wouldn’t count too much on it. The older ruler was very sharp in spite of his penchant for playing a fool around people.
“Remember,” she told the gathered guests, straightening the hay hat that helped her to fight the noon heat. “Say ‘surprise’ when you see him coming.”
