Summary; Now both nobles are without their servants/BFFs. Morgana finally goes to offer comfort.sob not THAT kind of comfort, pervs
Log; She should have gone over sooner. Arthur was doubtless hurting in his own stupid, stoic way; he couldn't be left like that. But Morgana had held off, hesitant, hoping that Anne could do what she would not. She had her own issues to deal with.
After a few days, though, Morgana realized that she wasn't dealing -- she was stalling. That would never do. And so she took herself to Arthur's door, hoping for... she didn't know exactly what.

At least, that's what he told himself. He did miss his friend though and it was odd to think how close the other young man had become to him in such a short time. And there were definitely things he wanted to talk to Merlin about. Maybe he would have some advice on what to do about Morgana. Even if he should do something about Morgana.
He decided that he would go hunting. That was good fun and always served to cheer him up, although it wouldn't be the same without Merlin to talk to. Opening the door, he came face to face with Morgana.
"Oh," he said, blinking in surprise. "Hello."

"Hello," she said, something caught in her throat. Her mind went completely blank, and she spent a long moment frantically scrabbling for something to say to ease the awkward silence.
"Are you going somewhere?"

While the words had their usual bite, his tone didn't. It just seemed like the sort of thing that he should say, rather than what he really felt. In truth, he was glad to see Morgana.

"I suppose you're going off to kill things," she said. "Really, Arthur, I would have thought you could have found a better way to deal with your feelings by now."

"And hunting is a perfectly practical and useful past time."

"Merlin will still be gone," she said. "No matter how many animals you kill." That had come out a bit harsher than she had intended. She let out a small sigh and looked away. "I just want to make sure you're all right."

"I was under the impression that if I killed a certain number, then he would return."

She hesitated for the briefest moment before following him inside the apartment. It wasn't as though they had never been alone before. It was fine. They had been cursed that time. It wouldn't happen again.

"It's a challenge, it's good exercise, you get fresh air, and it gets your blood pumping," he added.
