Summary; Kirk and Thomas are at the same bar, Kirk starts shit.
Log; Kirk was drunk. Not stumbling down, falling over himself, drunk, but he was definitely more than a little buzzed. Fortunately, he had spent a good deal of his late teens and early 20's in that state and could function fairly well.
Fairly, being the opportune word though. He'd had a rough couple of weeks dealing with some stuff so when he saw Thomas (or was it the guy that stalked Shalimar? Didn't really matter, he didn't like either one) in the bar he was a little upset about it.
"What's the matter?" he called out across the bar, his speech just slightly slurred. "Get tired of feeling sorry for yourself at the hospital?"
