What most people don't realize is they're being scanned for concealed weapons. But Jaime figures some of them must sense it, or at least be wondering what's up with the glowing orange eyes. He's getting a little tired of 80s music, truth be told, but hey, it's a job.

Just as she puts the last drink on her trays on the right table, Rip notices that two customers got themselves into a heated argument. No reason to get involved, yes? Then one of them hits the other. Oh, wonderful. The people close by turn around to see what is going on and Rip sighs. The one being hit and looking ready for a counter attack is a young vampire.
Those two need to be dealt with, so she heads in their direction. Tsk, what a-- But stopstopstop!
It's not her job to sort this out, is it~? Oh, no, it isn't!
So she quickly checks if she can see Eric Northman somewhere, then pretends to not have noticed to give them another few moments. It needs to be a bit more serious, or she wouldn't get to see!

His primary instinct was actually not to armor up while in public, considering how hard he'd always tried to protect his secret identity at home. Anyway, the scarab was already identifying one of the guys as a probable vampire and the other as an ordinary human. Of course, the Scarab was wrong sometimes about people in the city, considering many people had powers that weren't in its database. But it might not be necessary to armor up at all.
"All right, knock it off, both of you," he said in his serious voice. It was the voice of someone who'd gotten used to being in fights bigger than this. Heck, he'd even been in bigger bar fights, though he hadn't exactly participated much in that one in Tierra del Fuego seeing as how Guy Gardner had totally deserved to be punched and anyway could more than take care of himself.
He stepped between the combatants and sighed when they both turned on him angrily. It might have made another person nervous--it just made Jaime think of breaking up fights between his and his best friend's little sisters. And he couldn't even count on less biting, considering the whole vampire thing. He sighed.

She could see both of them were still oh so very angry and all that was stopping them from their fight was little harmless looking Jaime. It surely wouldn't take much to make them furious enough.
Another quick glance - she still couldn't see Mister Northman anywhere, therefore it was all good. So while trying to get through the crowd around them, she let herself be shoved aside and accidentally stumbled, giving her tray a little push in the process.
"Ups!" The drinks effectively spilled over the two. The human, confused and wet now, took a few steps backwards and collided with someone behind him, who didn't take kindly to that. The vampire on the other hand was seriously ticked off for good and went for the nearest target.
"I'm so very sorry!" The amount of work to get a little amusement out of this was certainly more than anticipated.

He dodged the vampire's punch--well, mostly, Peacemaker would have called it sloppy, and grabbed the guys wrist. At least he managed twist the guy's arm and pin him against the wall perfectly well. "Does anyone else want to throw another punch? I promise it'll be your stupidest decision all night."
He hoped the sort-of threat would work. Not that he couldn't back it up, easily. But intimidation was always preferable to actual violence, especially since he didn't want damage part of the establishment or anything.

Most of the people standing around muttered something and went back to whatever they were doing before the interuption. Though they still glanced back ever so often.
Rip tucked the tray under her arm to applaud.
"Good job! A fascinating performance!"
Then she looked at the pinned to the wall vampire. And smiled a little wider.

What was with all the smiling? "And don't try slinking away unless you're leaving, because I know you started this," he called over his shoulder at the human.
He loosened his grip on the vampire and prepared to escort him to the door.

The human winced and tried to sneak away quicker. She made no move to stop him. Not her job that was, either! Maybe she should have looked a little more frightened? Ahh, too late not!
"Don't let yourself be distracted, then!" she said, her bespectacled eyes still focused on the bug armor. She wondered how robust it was and how he had done that, anyway. ...And maybe he should have asked for another design.
When the vampire noticed that the grip had loosened, he made his own attempt to free himself.
