Summary; Di Di can't get her wedding ring off by any means that she could normally think of, so why not try a wizard?
Log; Di Di wasn't really sure what to expect when she entered the shop of "Amulets and Enchantments", but it seemed okay. Okay for what this city had to offer at lest. The stupid wedding ring was not coming off and it WAS going to come off. So in she entered, looking around at all the shop had to offered, hoping there was a quick and cheep fix for her most painful bind.

Harry was in the shop reading one of his books as usual. It wasn't exactly a bustling business that he ran but it was enough to pay the rent and have some money left over. It also gave him a lot of free time to study magic, both his own and that of others in his world.

When the bell over the door rang Harry glanced up to see a young girl enter. Smiling at her he asked, "What can I do for you?"

Di Di wasn't really sure how to ask, so she just held her hand up with the massive rock on her wedding finger. It was red around the ring and the ring seemed to be happy just where it was. "I need some help but I tried all I know how to get this off and I was wondering if maybe a shop like this could help?" It was obvious Di Di was out of her element as she looked around. "Please?"

Harry raised an eyebrow at that. There was definitely a story behind that although he wasn't sure if it would be good to ask about it or not. Probably not.

"Do you want the ring in one piece?" he asked.

Di Di had to think about that for a second. If he broke the ring, she couldn't hawk it off, but she wasn't hurting for money here. Also she couldn't throw it in his face either, but that was a thrill she could live without really. Not seeing him again would be great all around, though Di Di knew that could never happen. "No, broken is okay. It's just one of grandmother's costume rings and seeing as she isn't in the City, I'm safe for now." Lies, but they came easily to her and trying to explain marriage at her age? Though she forgot the inscription of love on the inside. Some fakes had that too, right? "I just didn't think hurting my finger for a fake ring was worth it."

"Well, let's see what we can do about that," Harry said, motioning her forward to show him the ring. Just cutting it off would be something better suited to Elaine or even Molly.

"Huh," Harry said, looking closer. "That's a pretty good fake."

"Grandmother always did have good taste" she smiles, not giving eye contact with him. The shop was too interesting anyway, and with her hand held out to him, she wasn't really interested in getting to know him. "But it's not like she didn't have any others. So, do you think you can take it off?" she wiggled her fingers in his grasp and looks down at it. If he broke it she was going to chuck it into the first lake she saw.

"Yeah, I can get it off," Harry told her. He was fairly certain he could even get it off without hurting the ring or her finger. It was obvious she had been trying to get the ring off herself.

"Just wait here while I go get something," he added.

"okay" Waiting time now, and more looking around. Di Di wondered what other things people came to a wizard for, or if her mother would approve.

Harry ducked in the back and rummaged around for a few of the supplies he would need. It didn't take long before he was back holding a sports bottle.

"Set your hand here on the counter," he told her.

Di Di did as she was told, setting her hand on the counter, her finger twitching a little. "anything I should be thinking or anything?" She really had no clue about magic.
