Summary; They meet coincidentally in Xanadu- but it's not exactly the perfect day to meet up after their last encounter. It doesn't help how much he looks like Guy, either.
Log; [It's her morning walk, and today she's decided to walk through Xanadu. She hopes there isn't a lot of traffic there- oh, but the scenery is so marvelous.]

Perhaps I should do a little training as well before the restaurant opens.

[ Here, have a Flynn who's doing the last bit of his early morning training. Slash, slash, thrust, thrust. He hasn't had the chance to really realize the curse in effect today because, hey, there are very few people out there awake in the reaaally early morning! ]

[She keeps walking, looking for a nice clearing- before she sees him. She pauses for a second, just watching, because man he really does look like Guy, though there are clear differences in their fighting styles.

She approaches slowly so as not to startle him.]

[ And here Flynn notices her- oh, hey, it's Lady Natalia! He stops, sheathes his sword and walks towards her. ]

Good Morning, Lady Natalia.

Good morning, Sir Scifo.

[She nods her head in greeting, coming even closer, now]

It's been a little while since I saw you last. I hope you've enjoyed the packages I've sent you. I'm only sorry I couldn't deliver them myself.

[ Flynn nods courteously. He did, actually. ]

I did, Lady Natalia. And I thank you for them from the bottom of my heart.

Yes, I am. I contemplated training a little- but found you instead. I hope I didn't interrupt.

Ah, not at all. I was just finishing up. Perhaps I can assist you in your training though, Lady Natalia? Though, I'm not quite sure how a swordsman like myself would be able to help.

[Readies her bow and arrow and takes a handful of steps backward.]

[She leaps into the air and showers arrows toward Flynn, aiming to hit.

She lands on the ground again and, from her crouched position, shoots another]

[ And here, Flynn actually tries to dodge most of that, but for those he simply can't, he uses his sword and his shield to block them. 8'D ]

[He's doing so superbly so far! That sort of thing was truly exciting.]

[And another spray of arrows- they're pretty concentrated, not very spread out]

[ More dodging, dodging, and the occasional parrying to deflect arrows he couldn't. ]

[ And it was true; she had been able to seriously make Yuri reconsider taking them on both at that time. ]

[Her tone is one full of pride, confidence. She edges closer to him, excited by this little exercise of theirs. If she pushes him back toward the edge of the woods, there'd be less room for dodging-]

[ And Flynn follows, but not blindly. As much as there would be less room for dodging, the density of trees would mean it would be harder for Natalia to take a clean shot of him. ]

Oh, yes, you're doing quite well. I've not had this much fun for quite some time, I'm afraid.

[As she spoke, she fired arrows with elegance, strength, and as much accuracy as she can conjure with Flynn moving around just as quickly.

She continues to advance toward him]

[ laughs heartedly as he maneuvers through the denser areas and minds to not trip on one of the roots protruding from the ground. ]

I try to live up to my status, and do my best to bring honor to the Imperial Knights that I represent!

[ He turns sharply to deflect an arrow and then turns back as quickly. ]

Oh, if only the Commandant back in my world were as honorable as you are, Sir Scifo. Perhaps then my kingdom wouldn't have had so many problems-

[She keeps her current distance, now, because shooting from up close was always a little annoying.]

[ And then he grins when he notices the stance Natalia is keeping. ]

Lady Natalia, if I go any deeper through here, the trees will effectively block all your arrows!

[She slows her shooting and hangs the bow over her torso. She giggles and quickly runs up to Flynn]

In response to your question- yes, our Commandant was a terrible man bent on destroying the entire world. Though his reasoning was certainly understandable, his methods were less than satisfactory.

[She shakes her head]

That sounds like the former Commandant-- [ He pauses here, in respect for Alexei. Though the man had seriously fallen from his pedestal, he hadn't always been like that... at least, that's what Flynn would like to believe. ] He had been a man with great, and admirable ideals. I may never understand his true reasons for betraying the Empire--

[ He shakes his head and smiles. ]

I'll try my best now to confuse you through the trees, my Lady. Please, don't hold back at all on my account.

She readies her bow again, concentrating. This is a bit more difficult- and oh, how she loves it.

She fires several in rapid succession at different angles]

[ Flynn dodges them easily-- but he knows that the next time he might not be so fortunate if he takes Natalia easily. But, he also wants to provide an actual target, rather than dodging. So he comes closer and increases the risk on his side. ]
