Summary; Marta visits Natalia's restaurant to discuss the Bake Sale of Doom(tm)


Log:
Shortly - or not so shortly, more like an hour - after speaking with Natalia, the girl with twin-tail hair (how else do you describe that weird hairstyle) has found the restaurant. She bumps open the door with her foot, carrying a bag full of groceries - mostly pastry stuffs - and pokes her head in. "Natalia? Are you here?"

Hopefully she hadn't arrived at a time where the other girl was busy. She set the bag down on the table, running a hand through her hair and patting at the cute ducky hairclips Yuri got her, bemused. She'd have felt awful if she'd lost them. "Let's see - I think I have everything." She'll just go through it again until she finds out if the other girl was there or not.

"Marta!" Natalia happily bustles toward her and the groceries. All day she'd been fidgeting, excited to get a start on the Bake Sale. She loved the happy faces on her customers whenever they ate a cupcake or cookie- ah, how lovely it was to help others.

"My, you've certainly brought many things. I'm forever thankful." She smiles, giving a polite curtsy.

Marta giggles, clasping her hands behind her back and swaying a little. "Well I didn't know what you had or didn't have, so I thought I'd bring a little of everything and take the rest of what wasn't needed home. Sorry it took me a while to get here," she points out the nearest window, "It's really coming down out there."

Hm.. Hopefully they don't get snowed in at the restaurant while chatting. "Has anyone else offered to help out with the baking?"

[OOC Sorry! I was helping the brother move some of his stuff out and was knocked the heck out the rest of the night. XD ]

"Oh, it's no problem at all! It's quite thoughtful of you- and to do it all while it's snowing outside. I hope you're not too cold, either." My- what an adorable young girl! Natalia felt her older sister instincts kicking in.

"There've been a few people, yes. I'm not quite certain when they'll show up, though, so we should probably get started just in case."

"Oh, I'm all right," she assures, "I kept moving so I didn't get too cold on the way here." Jut a bit chilly, and she was warming up quickly. Maybe Emil could come and put his arms around her And freeze her more *sob*.

Aww, Marta always wanted an older sister! ♥ "Emil said he wanted to help out with the Bake Sale too, so he should be joining us in a little bit. I hope you don't mind that I said it would be all right, but with as many people in the City -- well just from the size alone, I figured we'd need all the help we could get."

"I'm glad to hear that!" Oh, if only Natalia could hear about Marta's one true love, Emil. Though she thought of Ratatosk as an awful person, she did like Emil. Oh, the romance! How nostalgic.

"I don't mind at all, in fact, I'd like as many people involved as well. I'm sure we can't do all the cooking ourselves, anyway. I know if we work together, this thing will be a huge success!" Natalia clapped her hands together in excitement and giggled.

Oh heavens, given the chance Marta will go on and on and ON about Emil. Though thankfully, not as much as she used to. And - well - she likes Ratatosk too. He did after all, have a bit of good in him Somewhere. Deep down. Way, way, way, WAY deep down.

"Oh good! Well hopefully he doesn't have any trouble getting here through the snow - I wonder how long it's going to come down like that. Huh. Oh well, you're absolutely right anyway. Cooking for an entire City would be completely exhausting! I don't even want to think about it." She shivers, then looks around. "So how exactly are we going to pull this off?"

"We bake as much as we can, of course, with what we have. And should we run out- I suppose we could take a break from selling and switch to baking once more, until all those interested in our little sale are satisfied." She put her hand to her chin and thought carefully about her plans.

She really didn't have a set plan. She just went with the flow, really.

Marta hmm'd thoughtfully, "Maybe we could have some people do the shopping, and some do the baking - if we get a lot of people to help it shouldn't be a problem to relegate certain duties and sort of take turns doing different things so we don't get bored."

She folds her arms thoughtfully, "So I guess the next thing to ask is when are we going to put it together?"

"My, Marta, you're very good at this, aren't you?" Natalia crosses her arms now, seeming to think very hard about the next question. "Soon. Very soon, I'd like."
