Summary: The most unintentional date ever, cause we’re “special”. Also, there’s ice cream.
Log:
Ice cream! So this was the first time Alexis was really getting out. Her dad had been extra protective which was nice but she thought she might be going a little insane staying inside so much. When the opportunity for an outing came where she didn’t have to go alone, she jumped at it. Was it appropriate for a girl to ask a guy out for ice cream? In crazy land, it probably didn’t matter.
She put on a pair of jeans and a white sweater before making her way to the fountain where they said they would meet. Sitting on the side, she waited patiently. It was just like her to be early. Alexis hated being late… to anything. Even impromptu ice cream dates.

He was unaware of the oil smudge on his jaw, or the not completely clean T-shirt. On the plus side, there was no stains on his jeans, and he *did* wash his hands before leaving... But it was just ice cream between friends, so he didn't have to pay attention to things like that, right?
He got to the Fountain soon enough, and he wasn't even late. He noticed Alexis sitting on the side and he smiled. He walked up to her and gave a completely-not-even-slightly-awkward wave.
"Hey, hope you're not waiting long..."

Her mind was a wonderland, what could she say. She reached into her purse to get a tissue and then began to clean the oil off of his jaw. "You just have a little... there. All gone. Ready for ice cream cause I've been craving it since I brought it up."

"Let's get you that abomination of an ice cream," he teased her, because he could. He did have a light side to himself, and he's been known to throw girls he was friends with into the Fountain. Okay, only that one time and it was a curse, but still.

"I don't guess you know where I could get a roll of pennies?" She asks.
ooc: omg I never got this notif. *kicks LJ*

"Uhm," he hesitated. "Aren't you underage? Underage people get allowances from the City. You should get it soon..."

Did he make wishes? Anthony slowed down and looked at the Fountain. "I did. They never came true though, so I stopped..." He smiled, if somewhat sadly, and dug into his pocket. He found some coins and passed a red one to her. "Yours might, so go for it," he told her. Because why not.
[not-date date is a go! Oh yes! /giggles]

Bouncing on the balls of her feet a few times out of pure excitement, she finally turned back to Anthony and stood next to him. "Yours might too. It never hurts to keep trying."
ooc: omg so cute. *dies*

"Okay. None of us can say what they wished for or the wish won't come true. Ok?"

Then again, being friends with a stalker could be useful... "Then again, while you pester them for your wish... Could you pester them for mine too?"

"Okay... You make some good points. I'll make sure not to consider you creepy, when they arrest you for stalking..."

They got to the ice cream place and he opened the door for her. He was trained well. It's how things were done when the only parent you had was a Mom.

Stepping up to the counter, she ordered. "Two scoops of cookies and cream please."

"Anyway, whatever you choose in the end... I think it's a bold career choice. You know. Not everybody can handle the stress of the job. Not to mention the risk..."

"And just for the record, I'm not sure I want to be involved in you choosing the right person to stalk. It's a bit out of my comfort zone..."

"'S okay. I mean, I have a job and all. It's nothing."

"Nope. Mine's still better."
And no, he's not going to offer her to try. He's not as good of a man as she'd think.
