Summary; Euphie told Demyx that she would like to see his water powers. Demyx interprets this as meaning right now.

He liked Euphemia. Granted, he liked a lot of people, but she was nice, kinda weird, though. They'd currently been discussing his water, because she had never heard of something like that before, and was interested in it. Well, she said she that she wanted to see his water, and there's no time for a present like now, or something. So once she said that she wanted to see it, he stepped away, pulled his hood up, formed a portal, and walked through it.

He remembered mid-way, that people tended to react oddly when he portalled, but he never understood why, anyway. It was still pretty normal to him. Anyway, he liked showing off his water, no matter what the occasion. So he's very calm, not that his face is visible, when he steps out of the swirling purple and black mass into Euphemia's apartment, unannounced.

She waits for Demyx's reply, not at all expecting the one she was getting. Gasping loudly, she scrambles to her feet and jumps back quickly, knocking an end table over as she does so. Luckily it wasn't the one holding the lamp.

Her mind races for a moment the way her heart no longer can. Suzaku and Lelouch are both gone at the moment. Should she run? Scream? Call for help on the communicator?

"Who are you!?"

Woah! Well this was a new one. At least she's not threatening him like Chrono did, although the rest of her reaction was pretty similar. He instinctively took a step back, the portal having already closed, so he didn't step into it again, and tosses his hood back.

"Hey, it's just me!" He pauses, feeling this was not enough, "You said you wanted to see me do my magic."

"...Demyx?"

She looks at him, blinking and a little stunned for a moment and then closes her eyes and leans against the wall letting herself calm down.

"I didn't expect that."

"Yeah, me." They'd just been talking. It wasn't that hard to remember his name, was it? He vaguely wondered if there was anything special about the wall.

"Oh, yeah. A lot of people here don't." He really would have to remember to tell people ahead of time. But that was something he got over fairly quickly, considering it didn't bother him, and he wanted to show off his water, so he sort of unwittingly plows through the rest of the potential conversation to ask "So, what, should I just do my magic in here?"

He should really also remember that portalling is rather unique, and most people find it interesting. Although if Euphie were to bring it up, he'd talk about it.

"You mean, that wasn't the magic?"

She opens her eyes again and looks at him, tilting her head a little. "You just appeared out of no where. How did you do that?"

She steps away from the wall, walking over to him. Looking curious instead of scared now.

Blink. "I meant my water magic." That's why he'd come over. That's what they discussed, at the very least. "I mean, it's still magic, but the rest of the Organization can do it, too, so it's not anything too special."

It was pretty rare that people were interested in this sort of thing, though. Sure, there'd been the initial reaction when he stopped by, but after they got over that, they just sort of went on with whatever they were doing. Which is what he was intending on doing here, but she seemed so curious. And he'd been in that position more than often enough, and he rarely got to be the one to do the explanations.

"We use the Darkness to open up a portal to get from one place to another."

"Well, I've never seen anyone do something like that." Relaxing, she smiles at him. "The darkness? Does that mean it works better at night?" That sounds reasonable, right?

He blinked. "Huh? No. It's not like that sort of darkness. It's sort of its own element. Like the Darkness that lurks in peoples' hearts." He was excited at explaining things, but he said it in a pretty straight-forward manner. This was completely normal for him, after all.

"Really? But how do you use something like that?" Not to mention it sounded a little frightening that way. "Is it safe?"

"Well, I don't think that most people can use it, I mean, most of the people that I knew back home could all do it, but not, you know, people." He couldn't remember having done it before he became a Nobody, of course, he didn't think any of them had. Then again, he'd never bothered asking. It never seemed to matter. "You just sort of pick it up over time, I guess. You use it to walk through to get from one place to another."

He almost laughed at the question, he was used to being in the same room as Nobodies with guns, earthquakes, fire, and other large pointy-sharp weapons. "Yeah. It's fine. It's just dark, and you walk through it. So long as you get the portal opening right it's fine."

"Is it ever hard to get the portal opened?" She doesn't think she'd like the idea of being trapped in the dark.

"Well once you know what you're doing, no. A little difficult at first, but then you get the hang of it." He doesn't get the implication, although he would be less concerned about darkness, more concerned about No Way Out. Which had never happened, but it wasn't a pleasant thought, nonetheless.

"I'm glad you have the hang of it then. And you had even more you could do too, right? The water?" She is looking at him curiously. She's definitely impressed.

Okay, so now he starts to get this grin on his face. It's not all too common, but when he grins like that, be prepared for a show, because it's likely you've never seen anything like it before.

"Yeah." And that is the only warning Euphemia will get before he shoots his arm straight up in the air, where there forms what appears to be a ball of water, made up of the moisture from the room. After it gets large enough, it dissolves and a large blue stringed instrument, which now many people in the City can identify as his sitar, appears, and he swings it around, before grasping it in his familiar-to-him stance.

This time she is ready for it! Okay, that's a lie. She really hasn't seen enough things like this to be ready for them, but instead of being frightened she is charmed. She watches with interest and even claps once he seems to be a little...posed?

"That was incredible! And you turned the water into a...guitar?"

The clapping is new, but he doesn't seem to mind it. If anything, he might be grinning a little wider, almost relishing in it. "Pretty neat, huh? And- No, no, this is my sitar. Everyone always things it's a guitar, but it's got a different shape, and the strings are longer, as is the actual body of it, and it's not as hollow, for one thing." He deflated a little when she misunderstood, but talking about his sitar brightened him again so quickly it would be hard to notice.

"It was very impressive!" She smiles and looks over his instrument. "I did notice it was different. I just wasn't sure what else it would be. Does it sound different too?"

"Well yeah, sure! I'll play something for you right now!" When he gets into something, he goes all out. Right now is literally that moment, and the sitar is resting on his lap, and he plays. It may not be a familiar tune, as it's something he's made up- on the spot- but it showcases the sitar's string-y sound. Melodic and flowing, while being plucked.

She listens attentively. He really is kind of fascinating with these powers and talents. How interesting and unusual! When the song stops she finds herself clapping again.

He has become somewhat used to the attention he gets when he plays his sitar now, at least, although it's still pretty weird to him. But he just grins again. "Neat, huh? It's my favorite instrument. And with this one I can actually control my water."

"How do you do that?"

"Like this." Just like the actual playing of his sitar, he responds immediately. All that moisture is still in the room, and even though the notes from his song have barely died down, he stands up straight and shouts.

"Dance, water, dance!" and all that moisture gathers together, but it's not in a ball like it was before. This time it lines up, forming twenty exact water replicas of Demyx, complete with little sitars, too.

"Ooooh!" She whirls around, looking at all of them. "Incredible!"

"Yeah, and watch this!" As much as his sitar was used for only creating music minutes ago, when he plays it now, while the notes still come out, they have a different tone to them. Oh, they sound the same, but they're more precise and plucked. As he plays, the clones first go around making a circle around him, then intricate zig-zagging patterns, and spins. However, if Euphemia thought that was all he could do, she was very very wrong.

"That's not all, I- uh, well, it's gonna be a little crowded, but I can do it inside, too!" One more chord, and the clones seemingly melt into the ground, but the puddles that are left immediately turn into huge- well, huge for the room size, columns of water that surround Demyx in a circle, much like his clones did. They alternate shooting up close to him, and becoming larger and larger circles, five sets in a row. It is a decidedly defensive maneuver.

Watching with wide eyes she starts to get a little concerned. "Demyx, it won't be all wet in here at the end, will it?" As much fun as it is to watch she's not sure she wants to explain all the water damage to Lelouch.
