Summary; Sometime between paying for him and Riou and getting into a bidding war over Luc, Tyr and Meredy go out for lunch!

[ Tyr couldn't exactly remember the last time he took someone out to eat that wasn't in Riou's company, but going out with just Meredy probably wouldn't be too strange, the fact she paid for the day with him aside. If he ignored that aspect, the lunch date shouldn't be too awkward. Besides, between violet she paid for him and Riou, she was essentially paid for the meal.

...Right, nothing weird at all about this. It was just like usual.

He wondered how many other people he saw about were under similar arrangements for the day as he guided her from the apartment to Turnabout Café. Tea, lunch, near Xanadu. It wouldn't be a heavy meal, but maybe she would like it.

Turning to her, he asked with a small smile: ]

Nope! But Meredy excited to eat here. It is beautiful.

[She's seems really excited. Not so much because she's on a date, since she doesn't actually understand the implications of what a date actually is, but instead because this is a new place she hasn't been to. And she's having lunch with a friend. And it's going to be a fun day!

And she's just naturally a hyperactive girl, so it's not too surprising that she's skipping about happily.]

Has Teer eaten here before?

I had tea here a few times, but I never really ate here before...

[ Tyr stayed calm and followed Meredy with his eyes. When she was always so energetic and cheerful, it was hard to think of this date as being more romantic than any other. Nevertheless, seeing her so happy already made him hopeful for the rest of the date. ]

Come on, let's go together.

You bet!

[Meredy grabbed his hand and hurried into the café, still smiling happily. Once inside, she looked around curiously before turning to Tyr expectantly.]

Where should Teer and Meredy sit?

[ He should have expected her to take his hand, but he didn't. Keeping hold of it anyway, he looked around the dining area. ]

How about over there? [ He pointed with his free hand over to an open table for two by a window that looked out to Xanadu. Despite asking her first, he took a few steps in that direction anyway. ]

Okay!

[And she follows him, still holding his hand. That is until they get to the table, at which point she lets go only so she can hurry to the window to look at the view. Her short attention span knows no bounds.]

This view is very pretty. Teer made good choice!

Thanks. [ He stays beside the table, not entirely sure what to do when Riou isn't there to share her short attention span. ]

Maybe afterwards we can go to there and... [ ... What did you do at Xanadu, anyway? ]

Pick flowers and go for walk? It would be much fun.

[Okay. Now that's the had the time to admire the view, she sits down at the table, beaming happily still. And she picks up her menu to look at it.]

What is Teer going to have?

[ Pick flowers and walk? Well, it was Meredy's day... ]

Orange tea.

[ The answer came pretty much immediately, not even looking at the tea section. It was all he knew was on the menu. He looked up from skimming it just to ask: ]

How about you?

[She's a girl after all 8( They like walks and flowers.]

Chaaa-mo-meeel- tea.

[...Tyr should probably order for them. Just saying.]

[ He needs to spend more time with civilian girls again, apparently. :( ]

Chamomile tea.

[ He nods, and... goes back to looking at the menu. The guy orders for both on a date, right? He's sure Cleo said something about this when she tried to teach him manners.

Wait, this isn't an actual date. Right. La de da, keep looking...

Suddenly, he spots an item and looks back to Meredy with an excited smile. ]

Do they have stew where you're from, Meredy?

[Well, he'll have plenty of time to do that with Meredy in the City :>]

Correct! That is what Meredy wants.

[She blinks at his excitement! But it makes her excited too - it's contagious.]

You bet! Meredy and friends used to eat stew often on adventure!

[ It seems more like nostalgia time to Tyr! He just sets the menu down! ]

Let's have stew, then. My friend used to make it a lot back home, too.

Okay!

[She follows his lead and sets her menu down too, propping her elbows up on the table. Quickie climbs up onto her head and settles into her hair, sniffing around. He's ready to eat too.]

What is Teer's friend like?

[ He gives a confused look for a moment - how didn't he notice Quickie tagging along?! - but smiles again at her question. ]

Ah, his name is Gremio. He... He's nice. He worries a lot, but... [ He shakes his head. ] He always made really great food. There's a type of stew he makes that's incomparable to anything else.

[Quickie can be stealhthy! Also I forgot he follows her everywhere |D]

Does Teer miss him? Farah always cooked for Meredy on journey. She is very good cook.

[ He nods in response to her question, but just returns the question. ]

Do you miss her, too?

Meredy did! Very much, because when Celestia and Inferia separate, Farah and Meredy separated too.

But Farah is in City now, so Meredy not have to miss her anymore.

I will have to introduce to Teer to her!

[ That's a nice surprise! ]

I'd like to meet her, then. It's great luck that the two of you both found your way here. Does she live with you?

You bet. Meredy glad that Farah came. Now wish Keele and Reid would come too.

Maybe they'll follow soon, since you and Farah ended up here, too...

I wish I could introduce you to other people I knew, besides Luc.

I would like to meet Teer's friends too

When things are back to normal here, we should do something with Riou, Luc, and Farah.

[ Let's pretend they ordered and all already! So they can have some tea, at least. ]

[Yay tea! She takes a drink of it- not at all lady-like either. It has the slurping sound and everything. And if that wasn't bad enough, she holds it up for Quickie to lick at too.

Yes. She shares her food with Quickie. :>]

What should we do?

[ Strangely enough, that puts Tyr at easy and he leans back in his chair a bit, holding his cup in one hand. If she'll let Quickie drink out of her cup, he could definitely get away with his own bad table manners. ]

I don't know. Luc probably wouldn't want to do anything... What do you and Farah like to do?

[It's better to be laid back about these kinds of things. And she doesn't even think they're bad table manners.]

Meredy and Farah do many things together. Shopping, dancing and singing, exploring- many things!
