[Ever since that curse weekend with the date auction, her emotions were all over the place as far as this whole concept of going on a date with Ikuto went.

She still couldn't believe she actually agreed to this, or that was actually going through with this. Just thinking about it made her incredibly nervous but today was the day she'd told him that their date would be so she'd spent the last hour trying to find something nice to wear for this date before finally leaving her room]

[Ikuto was waiting by the door, wondering what was taking her so long. He hadn't really thought about it until now, but they hadn't been on a date in a very long time. He didn't have a plan either--he'd just wanted to see how much Amu would bet on him during the curse. In any case, this date would be interesting.]

[Once she was ready, Amu left her room and made her way to the front door. Seeing that Ikuto was already waiting for her, she wasn't sure what to say at first since she was trying not to think too much about the fact it was a date.

She'd been on a date with him before while in the City, but that was a quite a while ago. She wasn't sure why, but this time it felt a bit different]

[When he saw the look on her face when she finally came out, he couldn't help but tease her.]

Nervous?

[guardianjoker]

No-- of course not!

[She hated that he was right, because she was nervous. He always was able to tell more easily than most people. That, of course, made her immediately flustered like usual.

It's not like she hadn't spend time with Ikuto so it shouldn't be that hard, right? Yeah, she could handle this, or at least she hoped she could]

...So where should we go then?

[He shrugs.]

I dunno. Where do you want to go?

[guardianjoker]

[She didn't exactly know what to do actually, since this was a date, she thought he'd have some sort of plan of what to do, but since that wasn't the case she paused for a moment to think of what to do. It's not like she had much experience with this sort of thing]

I guess we could go to the Xanadu...

[He holds out his hand to her.]

Let's go.

[She just nodded and took hold of his hand as they headed out the apartment]

[A few minutes later, they reached the Xanadu, and Ikuto stopped at the cherry tree past the entrance.]

So where should we go from here? The zoo?

[guardianjoker]

Yeah, sure we can go there.

[She's been to the zoo, with a few friends of hers once before but that was a while ago, so she wasn't against that idea]

[He smiles at her as they walk into the zoo.]

For a date, you're being pretty quiet.

...What does that have to do with anything?

Just something that I noticed.

[His mention of it made her wonder whether it was a bad thing or not but she just shrugged before responding]

Well if I am, I don't know why.

[He looks over at the first enclosure, which has a mountain lion prowling inside.]

It's been a while since we've done something together.

[Heading inside she just followed his glance over at the mountain lions]

It hasn't been that long.

[He doesn't say anything for a moment.]

I guess it just feels like that, then.

You do know that you could have just asked, right?

[Despite her initial stubbornness, in the end if it was Ikuto, she wouldn't exactly mind if she really thought about it]

...Yeah.

[Ikuto stares at the mountain lions, not looking at Amu at all. He didn't want to admit that he had been afraid that she would say no.]

[From his response, she totally noticed something seemed off especially since he became quiet after that]

...What's with that response?

It's nothing.

[He really needed to think of a better response that that one of these days.]

[He really does need a better response, because she wasn't buying that]

Yeah, sure. It doesn't seem like nothing, you know.

[She couldn't help but wonder if it was something she'd said]

[He turns around to lean on the fence.]

...I'll just keep that in mind next time.

Next time?

[She'd totally forgotten that she was still holding his hand from earlier, but his words reminded her there might not a next time, or at least for however long he would be gone, but she was trying to focus on what was happening now for the most part]

Waiting for a curse takes too long.

[He walks away from the mountain lion enclosure, pulling her along with him.]

C'mon, there's a lot to see.

[She thought waiting for curses was cheating anyway, or at least that's why part of her wanted him to ask normally. She forgot about finishing her sentence though as he pulled her along]

Okay, okay. I'm coming, so where to then?

[He starts to think that maybe he could distract her from questioning his answer.]

Wherever you want. I've heard that this place changes depending on the people who are in it.

It does? I don't think I've heard that, but I guess we'll find out.

[The last time she was here she never really noticed or thought of that before but at the moment she really had no clue at all where to go really, except to keep walking forward]
