When; SUPER ULTRA ULTIMATE BACKDATING to June 21, the night of Godric's arrival
Rating; Wouldn't say more than PG
Characters; Jessica [[livejournal.com profile] turnedyesterday] Eric [[livejournal.com profile] vikingvampire] Godric [[livejournal.com profile] faderbroderson]
Summary; Eric brings Godric back to The Raven after his arrival, where he meets Jessica.
Log;

Jessica hadn't been watching the Network, hadn't seen the same post that everyone else had and immediately focused on the fact that someone from Dallas was looking for Eric. If she had seen it, it wouldn't have taken too huge of a logical leap to put together that this was probably the Eric who was currently supervising her.

Of course, she was in a City, and it was night, so she'd decided to take advantage of Eric's absence to go out and see some of her surroundings. The Underground was the sort of place that was incredibly intimidating, both in terms of its scale and its general population, but she had the combined sense of invulnerability borne of being both a teenager and a recently made vampire, so she took to the area with a kind of bold defiance.

Having returned with enough time to spare, she was now seated at the counter, putting on her best alluringly mysterious demeanor, with a glass of actual blood - one of the things she enjoyed in Bill's absence - and eying the patronage.

Eric walked into the club, his head bent in conversation with Godric. He looked up to quickly assess the number of people populating the club that night. It was a decent number, which he liked. He spotted Jessica at the bar and barely raised an eyebrow at her. She definitely took to being a vampire quickly, he noticed. He supposed he should introduce Godric to her now, so he could get to know the girl who would be sharing this ever growing nest.

Godric scanned the club automatically as he entered with Eric and immediately noticed the bright-haired young vampire at the bar. He sent a questioning look at Eric, correctly surmising that this was Jessica.

"Jessica, this is Godric," he said once they stopped next to the girl. "You will treat him with respect or you will not stay here, is that clear?" He meant it too. He knew how she regarded Bill and he was more than aware of her behavior around him, which he could handle, but he wouldn't stand for her disrespecting the one person who meant so much to him.

Godric inclined his head at Jessica, the smallest of smiles on his lips. She held herself in a way that suggested her confidence was feigned, a mask in the face of uncertainty, which was not at all unusual for a new vampire. Rather than seeking to intimidate, Godric sought to be welcoming.

"Hello, Jessica. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Eric was quiet during the exchange between Jessica and Godric. He didn't expect her to be rude to his maker, but he wouldn't put it past her. So, he was pleased when she was being polite.

Still, he had to turn to his maker and ask, "Är du säker på att du vill lära henne?"

[translation: Are you sure you want to teach her?]
faderbroderson: (no u can't have a cookie)

I am so sorry this took forever. :x

"Någon måste," he responded easily. He had never taught another besides Eric, but no vampire child should be allowed to wallow in ignorance, especially among such a large and diverse population. Looking back at Jessica, he smiled just a bit.

"Eric tells me your maker is not here, but you still have much to learn."

[translation: Someone must.]
