Log, ongoing, closed
When; Very late Saturday night.
Rating; R, swearing and violence
Characters; Red Mist (
kicksmoreass) and Hit Girl (
neverplays)
Summary; Red Mist has Protoman's abilities due to Grab Bag Weekend. He decides to use this opportunity to seek out Hit Girl.
Log;
[If Chris knew anything about Hit Girl, it was that she, just like Kick-Ass, couldn't stand to mind her own business when it came to criminal activity. If she was anywhere tonight, she'd be in the back alleys of some crime-ridden place just waiting for a robbery or a gang fight to break out.
This wasn't the first place he'd tried. He'd been searching for a little over an hour now (luckily he didn't seem to get tired so easily like this, so he'd covered more ground than he normally could have in that time span).
He stood with his back against the brick wall of one of the more run-down looking buildings in the area. Stealth still wasn't his best attribute, so it was possible that she'd see him first. But any of the changes in his appearance could be written off as snazzy new costume upgrades for now, so he figured he had a nice surprise in store for her.]

These hooligans had deserved, undoubtedly. Cornering two women walking back home from a casual dinner, they had ripped pencil skirts and shorts to expose bare flesh, intercepted in the nick of time by justice in the form of a little girl. Those women were scared shitless, but at least they were safe.
But one attack finished doesn't mean danger's interrupted, and she can already hear the pacing of footsteps approaching near her. An alley away, half a minute away, her heart thuds a beat before she sends her blade spinning again, readied in battle mode. ]

He turns the corner - and there she is. He could see that she knew someone was coming, with her knife readied and everything. Regardless, he seems oddly confident. Not the same awkward, nervous boy who didn't look like he could win a fight with a large rat let alone another person. He smirks.]
Hello, Hit-Bitch.

[ She cracks a grin, curling an upper lip in habit, like a dinosaur ready to bite into its play. She sends her blade spinning, a white blur meant to intimidate.
Sure, this idiot was all kinds of stupid, but she hadn't expected him to actually track her down. Or rather, stumble on her accidentally. Did he have a deathwish? ]
You know, you can't buy yourself skill, sweetheart. That takes hard-work. [Light footsteps, as she starts a slow march forward. ] Know what that is?

[And in a few seconds what looked like a regular if not a bit oversized red glove has turned into a goddamn arm-cannon.]
- skill is sometimes given to the fortunate.
[And it's charging up and ready to fire a rather deadly looking energy-shot, better get out of the way.]

Any monkey can handle a weapon. You really want to play?
[ Even with his new gear, there's an element of entertainment added to an otherwise uneventful fight. ]
no subject
Yeah. I wanna fuckin' play.
[And with that, he runs at her, ready to throw a punch.]

Metal once again echoes as she slides out her blade, swinging it in preparation for his move. ]
Then you better be prepared, jackass.

There's a possibility that he's just kind of a dumbass when it comes to fighting. Which is true, but maybe he's on to something right now.]
Hope you enjoyed living, you little shit.

You're wasting my time, you know.
[ She spins her blade again, debating whether to switch gears to firearms. Her move has made it necessary for him to switch directions, but it's not that great of a distance to cross. ]
no subject
What's the matter, you too scared to fight me up close? I don't blame ya.
[He doesn't make a move yet, but his arm-cannon is fully charged just in case.]

[ There are several options she can take here: Use her gun and aim for a tender spot; she didn't need a giant blaster to shoot a man down like this asshole. Or she could maintain her current tactic and leap forth with her blade
Decisions, decisions. Her blade is more cumbersome, a gun more efficient. ]
Let's go.
[ A grin snaps in place as she makes her decision, slipping two guns from their holsters as she speeds forward. Her aim is directed at the crook of his neck, the side opposite to the arm-canon that's currently charging.
A few steps into her assault, she fires. ]

F-Fuck-
[But he gets hit in the arm and the shoulder and there's a clank and then a plink as the bullets fall down to the ground. His armor is dented, but he doesn't appear to be hurt.]
What now, bitch?
[And he fires the cannon again.]
