[ Digging was backbreaking - and dirty - work, and to prove that one only needed to see one of the numerous individuals that had been forced to carve their ways through the mountain by any means necessary. And here was one of them right now, one who hadn't ended up retreated two days before because of the non-stop noise that pulsed through the City. The evidence of his hardwork was apparent in his appearance: Dirt caked his arms and clothing, his black hair was streaked with brown, and cuts and scratches on his arms remained untreated. Working to his limit, Tyr was worn out.
And this was the type of Tyr McDohl that simply walked into the Building 10 apartment after retreated into the mountain for... days? A week or more? It was hard for Tyr to keep track. Time hardly mattered when all the days blended into a single, continuous one devoted to digging and things Tyr himself couldn't really remember.
With a hoarse, though strong voice to mask whatever could be wrong, he announced himself: ]
Riou, Connell-- I'm back. ...I need to talk to the two of you.
