I hope he hasn't been waiting too long. He sounded really hungry when I talked to him.

[MEANWHILE. AT THE TEMPLE. well, near it.

Reid was just waiting for the two to arrive. while he did, his bored eyes roamed left and right.

[-his words get cut off by the impact of Meredy's flying tackle, he made sure to catch her or else they'd both thud on the ground.

... just when he managed his balance, Farah joined in!]

Ow - ow - ow! [... this is such a familiar scene. but then again, with them acting this way... it really has been a long time they haven't seen him. he makes the smallest smile and moved his hand on top of their heads to place gently.]

I hope you two have been keeping yourselves out of trouble while I wasn't around.

You bet! Meredy and Farah not in trouble at all!

[...This is a lie if there ever was one. They're definitely always in some sort of shenanigans. But Meredy doesn't know it's trouble, so it's not, right?]

Meredy very happy to see Reid-!

[a grin follows up now, then he decides to just - ah, what the heck. he hugs the two back and squeezes them gently.]

[Finally steps back out of the hug and just smiles brightly at him. Quickie jumps from her shoulder to his head and just kind of. Nests.]

Quickie missed Reid too!

Here! I promised that I'd get you some food, too, so... here!

Oh, hey Quickie. [he grinned at the little guy, too! then-

... FOOD. you can practically see his eyes glimmer now. he accepts it without hesitations and cradles his picnic basket!!]

All right, thanks Farah! [HE CANNOT WAIT TO EAT]

[Meredy smiles at them. She's so, so happy that she can see her friends. Especially Reid and Farah, who she had thought she wouldn't get to see again.]

Reid is really here. This is... wonderful. Now Reid can live with Meredy and Farah!

Yes! You can join us at our house if you'd like.

Yeah? You two won't mind?

[he's a little embarrassed with how the two are all over him, so he tries to distract himself with peeking into the basket!]

You bet! Apartment has room for Reid too. Meredy not want to be separate from Reid again.

It's no problem, Reid! Besides... it'll be nice with you around. More lively like that.

Geez. It's not like you can get rid of me that easily even if I stayed in another place, right?

But I'll take you up on that offer, then. Someone needs to watch you two more closely!
