When luck reaches its limit [OPEN]
When; Aug 13; late morning
Rating; PG+ [subjected to change]
Characters; Klarth F. Lester (
whackaspirit) and OPEN
Summary; Klarth is trying to figure out what to do with his ghosting body, but the day he choose to go to the library for answers was the worse day he's had in years. Bad Luck Friday strikes as he ends up tripping over things and knocking over stuff, spooking the citizens around.
Notes: Ghosting meaning that no one can see him or hear him but they could see the device and any other item he picks up, floating in mid air. He could move things and communicate through texting or writing on something just so you know!
Also Action logging or paragraph form is up to the player! Either is fine by me~<3
Log;
Day 24. The City. Klarth sighed as he went through his usual routine like any other day. Wake up, wash up (even though it's pretty much sitting in the tub or only catching it within his hands. Essentially something that wasn't needed though feeling oddly out of place not doing so), and then head out to get some fresh air. Head to the library to catch up on some reading. Perhaps if he was lucky enough, find some answers to his new state of being.
True, at first, he wasn't used to maneuvering things considering everything he touched simply went right through him. But with time and practice, the summoner managed to at least type on his device to communicate with the outside world and eventually to carrying things at his own will. One could say he was now comfortable with his new body that once frustrated him to no end. Just the thought of having to stay like this for the rest of his life made him feel miserable even on the good days.
All in all, everything was well except that this particular day presented itself with full of challenges. The faucet knob that he would have no problems turning was jammed and when he did manage to overpower it, it ended up spraying all over the place. His feet catching onto the edge of the rug, making him trip over and knocking over several books in the process. Things just weren't working out right. He just had to get out of the house.
As he stepped out of the door, Klarth began to feel better already though with the added elbow bump to an item on a stand, shifting it out of place, and the occasional random kick of a can that smacked a guy in the leg, he was certain he'd rattle some poor citizen up if he didn't watch himself.
What else could possibly go wrong? It was best not to think about it, he tried to convince himself as he continued on down the street.
