Summary; In which Arthur pays Rosella a friendly visit.
Log;
Arthur wasn't really sure of what to expect from this visit. It only recently occurred to him that he'd never actually met Rosella in person. Not that this was anything new; he had a network of contacts back in his world of whom he'd only met about half. The rest were obscure names displayed on computer screens attached to numbers and secure emails that he knew to trust.
This situation was different, though. For one, it wasn't business. She was... he figured the word "friend" was appropriate here, as little as he used that word to describe anyone he knew here. He also couldn't remember the last time he'd dropped by someone's house in such a quaint and innocuous fashion. It somewhat reminded him of a time when paying the Cobbs a friendly visit was a part of his regular routine.
He reached up to knock on the door while resisting the urge to grimace. Reminiscing about the past was never really his thing. No point in starting now.

As she came to a halt in front of the door, Rosella gave herself one last quick glance-over before pulling it open, smiling brightly in greeting as she caught sight of her guest for the first time. "Oh, hello!" she said cheerfully. "You must be Arthur. How very nice to meet you at last!"

"It's nice to finally meet you as well," he added in a friendly tone.

"I like them well enough. And sure, I'll wait here while you get everything ready, then?" It was mostly true. Unless they were talking about cupcakes that were more icing than actual cake.

Then, at last, she paused to gesture-- "It's that door just to the left, and please do make yourself at home!" --before darting off to the right, hurrying back to the kitchen to retrieve her latest culinary accomplishment from the oven, and to assemble a plate of treats for them to snack on as they talked.

The den itself was what nothing out of the ordinary. There was well cared-for furniture and tasteful decorations strung around — possibly remnants of the holiday season. Arthur set his bag on the floor before shrugging off his coat, folding it, and setting it on a chair carefully. He let himself relax a bit as he settled into one of the nicer chairs in the room. As was his habit, he glanced around the room, taking every detail in carefully.

"There! All settled. And please do help yourself, of course," she said, setting the treats well within reach before taking up a seat herself in one of the chairs near Arthur's. "Really, it's so nice to have you for a visit. Were you able to find your way to the Warehouse all right?"

He reaches for a brownie and takes a bite. Brownies aren't exactly his favorite, but he's not strongly opposed to them either. "This's pretty good." And he really does mean it.
