Log; Somewhat Open
When; April 18, evening
Rating; ...well, Nathan's gonna be there. PG13 automatically.
Characters;
loonyandproud,
foundababy,
totallyinaband,
mghtbconcussed,
selenoscape
Summary; Campbell is turning 20! Meet-up beforehand at his flat to all...get together and have that cake that girl he doesn't know is making for him! And THEN go to a club of some sort that he left Nathan working out. Did Campbell do anything for himself? Not....really.
Log; Campbell is lounging on his couch with a beer, waiting for people to show up. He's already used a bit of his energy to do....nearly a sort of tidy-up of at least the living room, so there is...not stuff on the floor anymore, mostly, and there is less cat hair on things. Although, might want to hope you're not wearing black. Campbell doesn't and it's worked out for him so far. ...there's a rolly pethair thing somewhere, anyway. If you're expecting alcohol to be provided at Campbell's...it really isn't, because he has a minimum wage job at the moment.
He's getting antsy again, though, and he'll probably start pacing about if nobody arrives soon. It's his birthday! Why weren't people here an hour ago! It's not like he scheduled it for an hour ago but....they should have come that early anyway! Clearly.
[ooc: Feel free to make different threads for when your character is at Campbell's and for when they're at the club. Also, if you're friends with him, or if he's....talked to you....ever, feel free to have been randomly invited. Same goes for just...being at the club they go to.]

First to arrive, as usual
Re: First to arrive, as usual
"Stephen!" he says cheerfully. "Hullo! I'm glad you're here, cos I keep running out of things t' do. I wouldnae if I had all the music for my radio show ready and I could sit and put all that together but I havenae, and it's all t' do wi' downloading and that's only something y' can set going and it doesnae take up your time otherwise. But hi! Come in! Stop standin' in the hall!"
Re: First to arrive, as usual
Stephen hold out a bottle of prosecco.
"Kind of traditional for birthdays, I figured."
He smiles and follows Campbell into the living room.

"Thanks! Yeah, it isnae much of a party yet, but it'll be better once folk arrive, I figure."

Stephen takes one hand from behind his back and holds up a flat package that's been very poorly wrapped.
"There a place for presents, yet?"

Arriving at Campbell's door, Nathan knocks, stuffing his hands in his pockets and rocking on his feet as he waits for him to answer the door. He doesn't imagine it'll take him too long.
no subject
"A place for them? Well, you are the first one here. D'you mean so there'll be a big open them all together thing later, or just you don't want me openin' it NOW?" He shrugs, and then looks around a bit. It looks like he is looking for a place, but really he put his beer somewhere when he ran to the door and now he doesn't know where that is. "Put it wherever y' want, I suppose."
no subject
"It's your party, man! Whatever you decide. Speaking of, where are we actually going tonight?"
no subject
"HI, Nathan, come in, I'm still waitin' on the girl wi' the cake so that's someone, did you really get her t' do that? Actually? And she wanted to? Cos I havenae even ever talked t' her. Cos I thought that should come first, really. I was waiting on you too, though, cos I dunno where the club is, really." Words.
no subject
"I dunno. Nathan's choosing and he isnae here yet so...I know it's gonna be a club?"

"Here's to adulthood, man!"

[And then he gets distracted looking at the music.
Wait.]
Thanks, Stephen.

And she did not knock.
Why would she? It's a party. She's expected. She has brought presents as well along with a bottle of bourbon. It's all very celebratory.
It might be mentioned that she comes in singing.
Badly as she doesn't know how to sing any other way.
"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Campbeeeeeeeeeell! Happy birthday to you!"

Never mind, Campbell lunges up anyway when he hears her singing and heads over to give her a big, excited hug, although he's a biiit careful of anything in her hands. "Lucy! Hallo!"

Having a good birthday so far?

And THEN he finally takes the jumpers out of the package and starts holding them up to himself for a moment before he puts them on.
