Summary; Troll meet up!
Log; [Vriska stops her totally busy schedule to leave her hive and pick up Kanaya and ...see Eridan. Seriously, she was busy. Totally busy.

It doesn't take her long to get to the fountain because this time instead of walking she flies. Hey, she has wings, why not use them to make everything easier. She isn't really sure why she didn't do that last time. It isn't hard to spot the only trolls in the area, so she lands near them when she gets close enough.]

Alright, I took time out of my buuuuuuuusy day to come pick you up. I hope you two are grateful!

[Kanaya approaches Vriska slowly, arms folding, and only taking a brief second to admire the wings.]

Indeed, I am. I cannot stress how important it is for us to remain unified, and by offering your services, we will locate our teammates easier and without fail.

[Eridan, on the other hand, approaches rather quickly, water dripping from his clothes as he sloshes forward. Soaked in water? He hardly notices, aside from the squishy sound his shoes make when he walks.]

Not that we wouldn't have found them ourselves eventually. If this place is as crawlin' with humans as you all say it is, can't be too hard to find the only other trolls, right?

But thanks anyway, I guess.

Because you totally know which communal hive we're all living in. I doubt you'd have been able to find it efficiently without having me as your guide. Good luck finding Nepeta though, she's probably off in a cave somewhere.

[Turns around and waves to them to follow her as she begins the trek back to building 8.]

The city isn't thaaaaaaaat bad. It's not like being divided up is a tragedy.

[To this, Kanaya fully intends to follow, though she allows herself to remain in the back of the group, if only to linger and take in the extra detail of the city.]

Really. Why do you think this is so? Certainly there would be ways for a newer arrival to be lost, especially when this place is rather foreign to some. This would be especially so if they are still disoriented with having immediately arrived.

[For all his talk, Eridan is walking a bit closer to Vriska now. Not that he's terribly put off by new territory, but hey, she is offering to help and it's more than he expected her to grant him attention-wise.]

Not sure myself, but I will say a city like this is a lot better than bein' stuck on that heap a floatin' rock we were on a while ago. For now, at least.

[Honestly, she just came to pick up Kanaya, but she might as well get Eridan too. She can move him in next to Karkat to piss him off. A sweet revenge for taking Terezi away from her.]

It's soooooooo annoying wandering around this place. It's huge for some dumb reason, you should be glad you have someone that knows their way around already. Since I was the first one here, I didn't.

[Thankfully they aren't too far away from the building. About a ten minute walk, and it's pretty quiet since most people are sleeping at this time. Humans are so weird, sleeping at night lik that.]

[Passing by a few buildings, Kanaya will take not of them. How strange. How... Oh, how she really hoped that she would be able to piece this place together.]

That is fortunate for everyone else, then. You, of all trolls, certainly know how to pick out the most effective details in something that is otherwise unmanageable.

Yeah, yeah. Maybe we should just make Vris the leader now.

[He considers taking a jab at the whole red feelings between them bit, but--nah. He thinks better of that. The last thing he needs is two rather moody ladies on his hands when he has no idea where he is.

Instead, he just shoves his hands in his pockets and follows along.]

That's a great idea, why don't you run that past Vantas for me. I'm sure he'll loooooooove that.

[Keeps an eye on the surroundings because admittedly she doesn't have the City memorized yet. Not that she'd admit it or anything.]

What, I thought you'd be all for them dark alleyways. You could live out your dream a becomin' a rainbow drinker or somethin'. Start with Vris, though. I'd taste like fountain water at this point.

Yes. I had hoped that the initial misunderstanding was due to the fact that there was no tone to what I had said, the text and nothing more not showing that I was being facetious.

[He'll risk a glance back at Kan and shrug lightly.]

Could have a worse sense a humor. It's just how you are, Kan. Straightforward type. Everyone takes you at face value or somethin'.

[Chuckles and rounds a corner. She gasps dramatically!]

Oh noooooooo, I seem to have taken a wrong turn into this dark alley! Whatever will we do??

[Kanaya is still frowning, but as Vriska walks into the alley, her lip twitches and she hesitates...

before following her in. And approaching, slowly. She may have sidestepped Eridan, but as she closes in on Vriska, her eyes glint in what little light is allowed for them, and she speaks low. Slowly.]

To be quite honest, this location is perfect. I had fully intended to wait for Eridan to leave before allowing myself to take this initiative... But since you have opened yourself up to this circumstance, you leave me with no choice.

[Well he WAS following, but after that creepy little speech, Eridan is taking as many steps back into the street light as he can.

Yeah, you're on your own with this one, Vriska.]

[GEE THANKS ERIDAN.

Turns around to look at Kanaya and what. When did she get so close. Kind of tempted to take a step back.]

And just whaaaaaaaat initiative would that be, fussyfangs? Gonna try some more of that bad sarcasm on me?

Of course not. I know the situation is quite serious. So much, in fact, I do not believe that you know how serious it has become.

[And she'll just grab at a wrist, baring her fangs ever so slightly over jade-colored lips.]

Eridan was correct, in fact, with his inkling of my true intentions. I had thought that I would oblige to partake in your blood first, though.

[There's a flicker of a grin.]

[But, oh, what's this? Kanaya is persistent, the fact that she has Vriska on the defensive only furthering her movements, her innate desire to drink the blood of another troll.

[Okay Kanaya is seriously making her nervous now, and the idea of absconding into the sky is looking pretty tempting right now. But no, no. SHE IS GOD TIER SHE CAN HANDLE THIS.

Pulls out her dice. Bring it Kanaya. Bring it.]

Preeeeeeeetty sure you're not gonna be trying my blood tonight, fussyfangs!

[At this point, Kanaya is lifting her hands in front of her, looking quite ominous! And scary. Don't forget scary!

Her tongue runs over her fangs as she blinks once, wriggling her fingers and stiffening her posture.]

But it is too late for you! You have already looked upon the eyes-- of a killer!

[And she takes just one more step...]

[Before smiling. And chuckling a little.]

Oh dear. Vriska.

[The dice? Seriously. She's looking away right now, and lowering her hands.]

Did I really-- ah, "get you" so to speak?

[W-What? Sitting up now, trying to brush off his failure.]

Hah. You didn't fool me for a second, Kan.

[Stares. STARES. She was........ joking?

Okay time to hide the irritation on her face because she totally fell for it. So she grins, puts her dice away, and laughs.]

Of course you didn't! I was just playing along. Looks like you really scared Ampora over there, though!

[Walks past Kanaya and back out to the street. SO ANNOYED RIGHT NOW.]

[SHE SEES WHAT YOU BOTH DID THERE. She won't say anything, but she will take the win! That will certainly show them for mocking her sense of humor!

It was quite exhilarating to have finally got the better of Vriska by ways of a simple, harmless joke-- and testing out her rainbow drinking bravado.

She chuckles again, interlocking her fingers behind her back.]

"The eyes of a killer?" Honestly, you both should have known that such a phrase was a passage from one of my favorite novels. It was simply a quote I had attempted to reenact with a bit of a leery nature.

[Looking between the two, Kanaya bows her head sheepishly.] You could also say that I stole a page from your role-playing escapades. I can see the merit in it, really. I do hope I played a part in effectively joking around with you two.

[Standing up, puffing out his chest. Gotta get that pride back, after all.]

'Course we knew that. Not that I've read those glubbin' books personally. But no self-respectin' villainous type would use a line like that. [scoffs!]

Tch. Really. You might'a fooled Vris, but I saw through your rouse.

There's no waaaaaaaay she fooled me, and besides I'm not the one who absconded into a lamp post.

[Looks back at Kanaya and. Okay. So she's got to give Kanaya some credit because she totally got both of them. But not too much credit because she's still really annoyed.]

Anyway, all this greaaaaaaaat joking aside, we're here!

[Yep, they are in the alleyway right next to building 8.]

I apologize to you both for any distress I have caused. We can leave it be if you would like.

[Kanaya allows for more chuckling, the sounds stifled into the back of her hand. She walks a few steps and looks up at the building, blinking once or twice before commenting.]

I am not sure what to think. But alas, we are only on the outside. I await further inspection of our new domicile.

An I'll do you both a favor an not mention this to anyone else. Just because I'm considerate like that.

[He takes a look at the building as well. Standard, boring. But if this is their only option, there's really no room to complain.

He still finds a way, though.]

This is it? Not much of a sight, is it? Hope the inside's better than the outside.

[She rolls her eyes, leading them to the entrance of the building and inside.]

I bet some of the hives are pretty boring looking, but mine is awesome. And that's all that really matters.

[Heads toward the elevator because there's no way she's climbing eight flights of stairs with these two.]
