Summary; Euphie and Guy plan a beach party. Everyone is asked to attend.

It was the first uncursed Saturday, and has promised Guy and Euphemia were setting up the party at the beach. They had refreshments set up and a few games prepared for the attendees. It promised to be a beautiful day for playing in the water or lounging on the sand. And the evening was sure to make a great time for relaxing and listening to music.

Open log for everyone. YES EVERYONE. Euphie and Guy meant it when they invited everybody. Threadjack, plot, play, have fun. The possibilities are endless!

If you want some drama in the water, Guy and Katara are playing lifeguard. If you want some dancing, volleyball, silly swimsuit shenanigans, GO FORTH. the sky is the limit. Romantic sunset walks or ridiculous shounen power-surfing competitions, it's all encouraged!

[It's about time Yuri broke out the swimming gear that Ino picked out for him years ago. It's been equally as long since he enjoyed the beach like this, and what better than an invitation to a party to take advantage of it. Hair tossed in a haphazard ponytail, scars prominent on his abdomen (but what else would you expect from a swordsman, right?) Yuri doesn't seem to have many cares in the world right now. For once.

He's looking forward to dunking Flynn in the water.And he wouldn't mind seeing a few pretty girls in their swimsuits, too, but that's more of an extra bonus than the main reason for attending.

The sand is hot underneath his feet, and it feels damn good as he stretches out.]

Hey Yuri!

[Guy waves at the other, greeting him cheerfully. His hair is down and wet and it's clear he's already gone off to enjoy the water a bit before heading back up the beach.]

Glad you made it.

I wouldn't miss this for the world.

[He moves into his general hand-on-hip pose]

Looks like the party's already started.

I'd be a bit disappointed if you did. You haven't missed much, yet.

[Guy runs a hand through his hair, slicking it back unintentionally.] Looks like you're ready for fun at least.

Oh, believe me. I am.

[Pokes Guy in the chest]

Whatever we're doing- you're going down.

[Grins.]

[Guy laughs, stepping up to loop an arm companionably around Yuri's shoulders and drag him towards the volleyball net.]

Is that a fact? Pick the challenge and I'll be happy to beat you at it.

[Hey- he remembers this game. He elbows Guy playfully.]

How about this game right here? Got a ball?

[There's no way Rita has any swimming gear--and she wasn't about to go out and shop for some (waste of time!)--so a tank top and shorts it is.

She should be used to this after living in the beach house all this time, but the sand is way too hot under the sun. She'll be sitting in the shade if nothing of interest is happening.]

[Guy releases Yuri, grinning and hunting around the net until he finds the ball.]

[Estelle sits beside him in the sand, tucking her legs underneath herself carefully. She's still just a little self-conscious in her swimsuit. She shoots him a smile.]

Do you remember the last time we all got together on the beach like this?

[A dripping wet blond tosses himself enthusiastically into the shade near (but never too close to) Rita. Guy really does love the water, and he's been in it more than he's been out of it. He's more relaxed like this.]

[Estelle has spread a towel over the sand and is sitting on it, wearing the ridiculously pink swimming suit that Ino bought her forever ago. She's shielding her eyes from the sun as she reads a book, which is kind of a lame beach activity, but hey! Just because Yuri taught her to swim once doesn't mean she's any good at it. She is just going to stay here until someone else decides to go into the water, too.]

[Estelle settles herself down onto a patch of sand beside Rita, shooting her a grin.]

Hello, Rita! Are you having fun?

[She knows why he keeps a little distance, and Rita's fine with that--prefers it, actually, even if Guy is all right.]

Hey. You look like a drowned rat, you know.

[And Estelle gets a smile in return, because...Well, she's Estelle.]

It's not bad, I guess. What have you been doing, Estelle?

Not much! Just reading. I'm not a very good swimmer.

[ This is Flynn, and he probably has a big umbrella for Estellise to take cover under. He hasn't quite planted it on the sand yet, having just arrived. ~~Where do I put this, Lady Estellise?~~

Hey Estelle.

[Guy invites himself to sitting a little ways away, shaking water out of his hair.] You look comfortable.

[They can have their space bubbles then. Which suits them both.]

Haha, I guess I probably do. Not going swimming?

One of your stories, right?

[Then, after a pause-] Do you want to go in the water? I can help you out a little.

Oh, I'm sure I'll enjoy seeing that defeated look on your face.

[Gets on the other side of the net, stretching his limbs]

No. I've been trying to read as many myths from other worlds as I can.

Oh, okay! [She beams.] I'd like that a lot!

Sure do. Looks like the swimsuit still fits.

[Gives her a casual up-down. Kyahaha]

Ino's got good taste.

[She glances up from her book and ohgodthoseareveryrevealing.

LOOKING DETERMINEDLY AT HIS FACE, she smiles.]

[Estelle marks her place and closes her book, smiling.]
