When; February 14
Rating; R (blood and brainwashing)
Characters; Alois Trancy
ronderotarel and Ciel Phantomhive
eidoloncast
Summary; Recent traumas might have made Alois go a bit crazy. Sadly for Ciel, he's the one who has to deal with it.
Log;
[The cut on his palm re-opens easily. Just a bit of pressure with the kitchen blade is enough to let dark red drops or rich blood fall from his hand.
The whole thing takes a little to set up, but he does it all with a smile on his face. He's cheerful, just like he was when he gouged Hannah's eye out, a long time ago. And even though he loves her dearly now, he's not sure he'd be past doing that again if she were here right now.
Being out of control, at the mercy of that vampire, had been terrifying. Still the consequences had been even worse.
He'd found out he'd been tricked by Claude, betrayed once again, and that is enough to make his mind spin out of control. On top of that, he'd given Sebastian an occasion to show off. He's sure that bastard will find the vampire and slaughter him in no time, and that will make Ciel proud of him.
Unacceptable.
Alois' mouth twitches. The cut on his palm is not bleeding anymore. Everything is ready.
He walks in Ciel's study without knocking, because he never does. He sets the heart-shaped box full of chocolates on his lap, and leans in to kiss him on the cheek. Then he sits on the arm of the chair.]
Happy Valentine's Day. These are for you.
[The tone is calm, and rather happy. He carries his mask well. For now.]
I needed to ask you something important.

He doesn't look up until Alois sits on the arm of his chair, offering him chocolates- which he doesn't mind. He still likes sweets.]
Thank you...
[]He seems a bit surprised but that's nothing unusual.]
Oh? What is it, then?

[He sounds very cheerful. He's not, though.]
Would that make you sad?
no subject
I feel indifferent about it.
no subject
That is why he set this up. So he won't feel powerless.
He smiles sweetly. His smile would look terrifying only if Ciel knew what he's currently thinking, and he doesn't.]
I understand.
[He leans closer and opens the heart-shaped box. He picks up a chocolate and eats it. It nearly melts in his mouth, and the taste of his own blood is rather strong. He doesn't feel like throwing up, though. Jim Macken was used to eating worse things.]
Have a chocolate before I eat them all for you.
no subject
Leave a few for me, it isn't as though I don't appreciate them.
[His gaze is back on Alois now. He can tell something is clawing at him behind his eyes, something is desperate to get out- caged birds are a lot like his thoughts. Flying up against the bars and only breaking their wings-
how terrifying must it be to live like that constantly?]
You are not alright with this at all. I am not stupid, Alois.

There are many things I'm not alright with, but I don't always have a say in them. But let's not talk about sad things, Ciel. It's Valentine's Day. Can't we just forget about all that for a few hours? I don't want to cry today.
[His tone is pleading. He sniffs a bit and looks down at the floor.]

That's fine then...
[He has no intention to continue the conversation further- but he's worried if he doesn't eat at least one of those chocolates Alois is going to start sobbing all over again.]

Now he smiles at Ciel, with those eyes full of tears. He picks up another chocolate and puts it in his own mouth. Then he picks up a second, and he holds it up for Ciel.]
I promise I won't bother you for too long. I'll stay for a little while then you can go back to your book.
no subject
Very well.
[He blinks a moment and then opens his mouth, it's not like it means anything- and he doesn't want to think about the repercussions if he doesn't. He chews slowly, it tastes strange, something is off about it. But he can't tell what- whatever it is is masked by the chocolate so far. ]

Alois doesn't want to be ignored and lonely ever again. If a demon goes crazy after tasting blood, he'll make sure it's his blood, not someone else's.]
I didn't know I could ever be happy in this City. [His voice is barely a whisper.] But I think I'm not unhappy right now. When I am alone with you.
[The worst moments of Alois' days are those in which he's forced to stay in the same room with both Ciel and Sebastian. He hates how Sebastian always tries to steal Ciel's attention from him. He feels the constant need to poke those mocking, disgusting red eyes out, so that they could never set themselves on Ciel again.]

and when he finishes it he suddenly realizes what it is he's tasting.
He swallows thickly and then shoves Alois as hard as he can away from himself. The red in his eyes seeps over the blue like ink and his pupils narrow to slits. The hunger scrapes against his insides, fanged and clawed (waiting to be released) and he almost gags.
Blood. Alois's blood. It wasn't like with Claude where suddenly he'd become completely taken over by the sight, smell and taste of him. It was, however, making it painfully apparent that he wanted to feed. And he wanted to feed now. out of all the stupid fucking things he could have done... he had done this. It wasn't enough he had almost been eaten by a Vampire. It was now that he risked being eaten by Ciel.]
Y-You... What the hell did you do?!

Since you can't make a contract with me, I thought it'd be kind to give you a taste of my soul anyway.
[He crawls back close to Ciel, slides on Ciel's chair chair and straddles his lap. Ciel looks like such a little child right now. These are the moments in which Alois feels nearly as protective towards him as he does towards Luca. He smirks.]
That vampire was wrong. Blood shouldn't be used to decorate Valentine cards.
[He leans closer and licks Ciel's ear. This is somehow nostalgic. Back then Ciel was pretty agitated too.]

Get off! Stop it!
[And the glow enters his eyes, he grips onto his arms and shoves him off again. This time hard enough to bruise if he hits the desk.
Then -- in my childhood -- in the dawn
Of a most stormy life -- was drawn
From ev'ry depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still --
]
DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU'RE DOING?!
no subject
Yes, I understand what I'm doing.
[And he gets close again, because he never gives up. He bends on his knees in front of Ciel again, and looks up at him, staring in his eyes.]
Your eyes are the most beautiful shade of red I've ever seen. Who would think that all I needed to do was sacrifice a bit of my blood to have them look at me.
[He reaches up to run a hand through Ciel's hair. This is rather nostalgic, too. I wonder if my soul would turn blue like your eyes if I became one with you, Ciel. Except that now he doesn't need to become one with Ciel. He's already his.]
I adore you so much. I always have. Even when you prefer Sebastian over me.
[His smile widens.]
But Sebastian cannot make you feel like this. He cannot feed you. But I can.
