Liz has missed having get togethers like this. She, Maria, and Alex used to sleep over at one their respective houses all the time, but that had become a less and less frequent occurrence since she was shot and Max brought her back to life. They'd angered Alex by not telling him about Max, Michael, and Isobel, then everything just became way too complicated to stop and act like normal teenagers. And of course, she'd ran to Florida for the summer to be away from Max and pick up the pieces of her broken heart, and she hadn't even had the chance to sit around watching movies and eating ice cream out of the tub with Maria before she found herself here. She and Charlie had a blast at their place, and Liz was forever grateful she had such an amazing roommate, but getting out of her space and indulging in girl bonding in someone else's was so welcomed, she didn't have words for it.
A slumber party made her feel normal in ways she hadn't felt normal since she learned Max Evans was an alien.
"Hi!" Liz chimes cheerfully when Rose pulls open the door. She's got a bag slung over one shoulder and a pillow held in both arms. "Is it a Doctor-free safe zone in there or do I need to help with kicking him out?"
