Although she doesn't believe that he's fine, she isn't going to call him out. Neither of them are really fine, even if she gives him a slight nod, too. "Yeah..." And she just decides to leave it at that. It's sort of true, at least--she's about as fine as she can be in this situation, but not like normal.
