"Yes, like that. Most undead that I know of, however, are created by intent sort of. You don't just die and wake up an undead. Except maybe in the case of ghosts, but generally speaking that's from the person who died's intent to return to life and haunt someone." Theo pauses here as he realizes he's running off on academic terminology.

"Vampires are a form of undead. They're classified as intelligent, non terrain hindered undead with living tendencies. Which means they're fairly close to being alive, except that they require blood to drink as opposed to other kinds of food sources. This isn't to say that they can't imbibe any other sorts of things, it's just that blood is how they get anything to survive on."
